Fans Rally Around Offset As He Admits To Being In A Dark Place
Since the passing of Takeoff, Offset has been quiet on social media, especially on Twitter. Usually, the "Clout" rapper posts updates honoring the memory of the 28-year-old and looking back on the fun moments they shared.
However, on Thursday, Offset got candid about how he was feeling in the aftermath of Takeoff's passing. Posting a succinct yet heavy message, the 30-year-old wrote, "In a dark place 🖕🏾." The tweet garnered over 84,000 likes from his millions of followers and several words of encouragement amid the difficult phase.
One fan wrote, "Sending you our love, and prayers - for you and your family, dear Brother," while another user encouraged, "You got this offset 🥲 Takeoff booming in the sky waiting for you guys to drop some bangers and making sure you guys keep his legacy alive… in your hearts and mind….and let his voice speak through the word of your music!!!"
Sorry bro bc I know life will never be the same without Takeoff, success won’t be as sweet I’m sure of it..but time heals, time makes the heart grow fonder and warmer. Lean into any and all emotions and know that you all will meet again but know the marathon must continue 🚀🚀🚀

This follower reminded the "Walk It Talk It" rapper that he had a huge fanbase who were praying for him. "Offset just know you got some prayer warriors here and loved. Praying for comfort to you and your family," the tweet read.
This netizen urged, "I really hope you’re seeking help through therapy or prayer to whatever higher power you believe In. The internet is not a safe place for those grieving," while another added, "Find some music you like, have your favorite food for dinner, and call your best friend to come over."

However, amid the slew of encouraging comments, some fans trolled the rapper for his confession. One user wrote, "No disrespect, but.... If I lost someone I consider as family, i would definitely not be on Twitter tweeting. I would go dark..without seeking attention for it."
Another troll wrote, "Go cheat!!! I’m sure it would make you feel better." Nevertheless, the positive comments far outweighed the negative remarks.
Cardi B Feels Hopeless Trying To Cheer Offset
The father-of-five's confession comes days after his wife, Cardi B, opened up about how she and her family were dealing with the heaviness of Takeoff's passing and how she struggles to make her husband feel a bit better.

As The Blast reported, Cardi, during her first interview since the "Hotel Lobby" rapper died, explained how she and Offset were adjusting to their new life without their loved one. The “Bodak Yellow” explained that she and Offset have been trying to live their lives normally, as evident in her Instagram Stories, but it hasn't been easy.
"We’re living our lives normally, but deep down inside, our hearts have been so heavy," the "Hustlers" actress confessed. She noted that they have been silent about how they feel because the internet is so cruel, and people like to chase clout. In her words:
"I feel like if I talk about – the internet’s so desensitized – how we really feel, what motherf–kers really been going through, y’all would start saying, ‘Oh sympathy.’ We don’t want no sympathy."
While declaring that she didn't want people to see her family as a charity case, her husband, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, has been taking it particularly difficult. "No lie, I have been feeling so hopeless trying to make my husband happy, Trying to make him crack a smile," she confessed.
Cardi noted that Offset would "randomly cry" about Takeoff, and seeing him trying to distract himself from the pain breaks her heart. She also mentioned the added pressure of trying to go back to work and deal with their hectic schedules have further complicated the grieving process.
