Emma Roberts Breaks IG Silence, First Post Since Pregnancy Announcement

Emma Roberts has finally broken her social media silence. The mom to be reached out to her fans to remind them to wear a mask. Roberts is the latest celebrity to join a gang of other celebs who have been using their platform to encourage their followers and fans to protect themselves from the Coronavirus by wearing a mask. The 29-year-old posted up in a mask covered in flowers and a sweatshirt that read, “Full Moon made me do it”.

The actress captioned the picture, “The full moon makes me do most things but the mask I wear because I want to and so should you! ??✔️??? #wearadamnmask please”. The “American Horror Story” star has not posted on her IG account since June 21 where she shared a quote from Ibram X. Kendi in relation to the state of our society today. The quote read, “By not running from the books that pain us, we can allow them to transform us.” Unfortunately, for fans the black and white selfie did not show off if Roberts has the coveted baby bump as of yet or that significant pregnancy glow.

Fans were certainly excited about the next chapter in the actress's life. “Congratulations on the pregnancy,” wrote one follower. Another applauded her for her stance on wearing masks. Most of the comments addressed her as “queen” and complimented how gorgeous she always looks. The pregnancy news was confirmed by the actress’s mom Kelly Cunningham when rumors began to swirl that she was expecting. One fan straight up asked Cunningham, “Kelly is Emma pregnant?????”, to which she replied a simple “Yes” with a heart emoji.
Cunningham had more to say about the pregnancy to another commenter, “Thank you so much! Very excited,” she responded. Another follower added that she will be a great grandmother. Roberts is expecting her first child with actor Garrett Hedlund. The two were first spotted together back in March 2019 holding hands while taking stroll. While they have never confirmed their relationship, actions speak louder than words. An insider noted that the two are “having fun and enjoying each other.” This will be the first child for both actors.

The “Scream Queens” star’s last relationship was with Evan Peters. The two dated for seven years and even got engaged closer to the end of their relationship. Fans were concerned about a marriage between the two because of the accusations of abuse on Roberts part. The actress reported attacked Peters and left him with a bloody nose during one of their many altercations. Thankfully, they have both moved on to healthier relationships with Evans starting a relationship with singer Halsey in 2019.
