Kristen Doute is coming back swinging for all those fans who canceled her because she didn't reach out to Faith Stowers. The ex "Vanderpump Rules" star addressed the issue on Twitter, saying those accusations are simply not true. The former SUR waitress claims she reached out to her ex co-star to no avail. Kristen Doute says Faith Stowers did not want to talk to her about the events that unfolded despite her numerous outreach attempts.
The star riled up her fans when she began tweeting about legalizing marijuana earlier this week. When several followers told Kristen Doute to shut up, she stood up for herself which backfired terribly. "Vanderpump Rules" viewers immediately began slamming the ex-reality TV star for her actions against Faith Stowers, telling her she can dish out criticism but can't take it. They also threatened to cancel her because she seemed to have yet addressed the issue directly with Faith Stowers after releasing a general apology prior to getting fired from Bravo.
That's when someone spoke up and defended Kristen Doute from the haters. "Kristen has apologized to Faith privately and publicly and took ownership of what happened and apologized for it," the fan tweeted. "She's never had problematic behavior in the past regarding issues like this before. If people want to support her or unfollow her that's fine and they can do so." When another person wrote back asking, "Do you personally know Kristen to confirm this? She told you she personally reached out TO Faith?" Kristen did not hold back.
Addressing the troll directly, Kristen Doute responded with claims that she's attempted to get ahold of Faith but was unsuccessful in doing so. "Yes I personally DMd her and attempted a phone call," the former "Vanderpump Rules" star replied. "She chose not to respond and declined [to] speak to me, which is her choice." As The Blast reported, Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder were fired last month after Faith Stowers rehashed an incident where they racially profiled her by calling the cops to report her for a crime she didn't commit.
Yes I personally DMd her and attempted a phone call. She chose not to respond and declined speak to me, which is her choice.
