Meet Loki! The TikTok Cat Who's In Love With A Potato

When Loki the cat found a potato, he instantly fell in love. The TikTok famous kitty has quite the love story going on and his fans are enjoying every minute of it.

About five days ago, a video was shared showing how the love story began for the cat and the potato. It has since progressed and a few more videos have been added to TikTok for all those who are following this interesting drama unfold.

One follower said, "I love cats...the things that keep them occupied cracks me up?" to which Loki's human replied, "The amount of money I spend on toys only for him to spend hours with a potato?‍♀️"  Another follower pointed out how adorable this situation is saying, "I can’t even - cuteness overload ?" and Loki's human responded, "I don’t even know how he got that potato but now he won’t let me take it ??"

A follow up video showed just how Loki found his new love interest, as well as some other new friends. The video is appropriately set to the song, "Take the Money and Run." In this video, viewers witness the adorable kitty jump up on the counter, find a potato in a basket, pick it up in his mouth and throw it off the counter. Viola! Instant friend!

One follower of this unfolding adventure took to the comments to suggest a book. "A few snapshots some text and I think you have the makings of a great children’s book," they said. Loki's human replied, "Should it be a love story about a cat and his potato, or a cautionary tale about guarding your fruit and vegetables from cats? ?"

Another follow up video captioned, "he then proceeded to roll it around the house at full speed for 20 minutes, and steal 11 more potatoes," tells the story of what happened next for the cat with a big personality. In this video, we see the cute little guy loving his potato by putting his head on it playfully. One follower asked, "Is he getting a bag of potatoes ? for Christmas? ?"

Loki wasn't exactly stopping at just one potato friend. Why have only one when you can have many? He has stolen every single potato in the house and has claimed them as his own. "Part 1: @lokidoestricks // I’m now drowning in potatoes. And yes, he did steal every single one of them himself, and he cries if I try to take any of them ?," the caption of a video showing the cat with many potatoes reads. 

One follower had a suggestion to ensure there is never a shortage of potatoes for Loki saying, "Time to start a potato farm." Another person asked an interesting question about how the situation began, "Did the potatoes start out as a diversionary tactic from the Christmas ? tree???... if so, I think it backfired ?" to which Loki's human answered, "Lmao no-he just found where they were and started this himself."

Loki isn't just a potato thief. He was also caught stealing some other food. In one video, viewers get to see the food stealing kitty helping himself to a loaf of bread. And in another video, he takes a pepper.

"He's serious about that bread! ?" one follower said in the comments. Loki's human responded, "To be fair, I also have an addiction to carbs." Other fans of the sweet cat burglar commented about how their cats do similar things and how adorable he is while stealing all the food in the house.
