According to TMZ, the police department has stated that they find the intruder's behavior to be worrisome. At this time, they do not know if the man is a fan who means no harm and is just giving Clarkson gifts, or if the situation could escalate into something more dangerous.

Reports state that Kelly Clarkson has the man on surveillance footage, showing him dropping the gifts off at the porch. LAPD is currently trying to identify the man. Once they do, they will run a background check to determine if he is a threat.

Afterward, the LAPD will then attempt to locate the man so they can talk to him. At that point, the Los Angeles Police Department will then determine whether they need to make an arrest, get a restraining order for Clarkson, or get mental health services involved.
