In the post, Clarkson writes, "20 years ago today [September 4th] I won 'American Idol' and it forever changed the course of my life. That moment was the door that opened up so much access and opportunity, and creative partnerships that I will be grateful for all of my days. The family and friendships I've created over these last 20 years in music and tv are priceless to me. We only get so many trips around the sun and while I feel proud and abundantly blessed of the successes and failures I have learned from, I am most proud and grateful for those friends that have become family, and for those arms that have held me when I needed it and their hearts that listened to me when I felt lost. Without them I would not be where I am. I probably wouldn't be here at all." (per The Blast)

The OG 'American Idol' Judges Help Celebrate Clarkson's Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star!

Jackson, Cowell, and Abdul gathered alongside Clarkson during her Hollywood Walk Of Fame ceremony to honor her in a poignant way!

According to Today, all three judges were guest speakers.

"I actually thought I was being punked on the first day," Cowell told Clarkson in his speech. Referencing the moment when Clarkson first walked into the room for her audition, he continued, "Paula resigned. Every singer was out of tune and it got worse progressively. I thought, 'This is an absolute disaster, why did we come here?' And thank god, I remember the day we met you and I remember not just your voice, but your personality..."

The notoriously 'mean' judge had nothing but gratitude and extremely nice things to say about his relationship with Clarkson as he continued his speech!

"Thanks to you, I am here today. You validated what we did. If we didn't find a star, there's no point in doing these shows," Cowell continued. He also revealed Clarkson made him believe "American Idol" had a future beyond its first season.

Clarkson also spoke at the ceremony, of course!

"This is where I won 20 years ago," she began in her speech, "I feel very lucky and fortunate because I know a lot of people who love singing and are amazing at it and writing songs, and even talk show hosts- a lot of people could do that, and I just feel very fortunate that I got the chance. There are dreams that you didn't know you had, and they ended up happening and you feel super blessed," Clarkson concluded.
