'Teen Mom OG' Star Tyler Baltierra Wishes His MOM A Happy Father's Day -- Dad Chose 'Drugs' Over Kids

'Teen Mom OG' star Tyler Baltierra is wishing his MOM a Happy Father's Day after pointing out in a scathing statement that his dad wasn't around during his childhood, oftentimes abusing drugs and not supporting their family.
In the lengthy and emotional message, Catelynn Lowell's husband relived some of his fatherless childhood and the obstacles his mother was forced to overcome while raising two kids on her own.
"I just want to say Happy Father's Day to one of the strongest most influential people in my life...my mom. I did not have the luxury of having my dad around since he decided to choose drugs over his children, but my mom NEVER gave up on us kids. She always put her children first no matter what," he began.
The 'Teem Mom' star recalled several instances where his mom would shelter the children from the harsh reality of their life, and in some cases even bounced checks to ensure the kids didn't go hungry.
"I remember her taking us out to eat one time, but she didn't order anything. I remember asking her why she wasn't going to eat & all she said was I am not hungry. I didn't realize until I got home that there was barely anything to make a bowl of cereal at home let alone feed 2 kids. She later told me as an adult that she bounced the check to pay for us to eat," he wrote.
He continued, "My mom bought Christmas, my mom bought me my first bike, my mom took me camping. I had to teach myself how to be a man, but my mother taught me how to treat a woman. How to respect women & how to be a loving & compassionate person."
Tyler expressed his love her his mother and called her the best MOM & DAD a son could ask for, saying, "You took on both roles in our house & you had the hardest job on the planet raising us all on your own...
He continued, "I commend your courage, I honor your sacrifices & I want you to ALWAYS know how loved and appreciated & outstanding you are. Your one of the most beautiful human beings I have ever met & I'm beyond blessed to be your son!"
He ended his message, "#HappyFathersDayMom"
As we reported, Tyler and Catelynn have had a rough week, after being forced to release a public statement asking fans not to show up to their home unannounced.
It's unclear if the fans were aggressive or if law enforcement is involved, but Lowell begged fans, "Please quit just showing up at our home...Our home is our safe place so please respect that."
