Grayson Chrisley is alive and doing OK following his scary car accident.

The reality TV star’s older sister, Savannah Chrisley, gave an update on her brother during the November 29th episode of her podcast, “Unlocked.”

She admitted Grayson is “beat up” after but hanging in there after totaling his truck.

“He’s OK,” Savannah said. “He’s beat up, but he’s OK. It could’ve been worse, so thank the good Lord above.”

Her mother said it “could’ve been a lot worse” in a pre-recorded appearance.

“When he told me, he was like, ‘I hit the back of someone,'” Savannah explained while laughing, adding that the 16-year-old, “made it sound like a fender bender.”

Savannah added that “every airbag was deployed” when she went to check out his totaled truck.

“It was bad,” she shared. “When I showed up and saw it, literally my heart sank.”

The Blast reported on Grayson’s accident which landed him in the hospital.

The accident happened amid the famous family’s legal troubles and prison sentencing.

In the first half of the year, they were charged and found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion. While they plan to appeal the verdict, the couple may likely spend decades in prison.

Grayson recently collided with the back of a truck and sustained a number of injuries. The reality star was rushed to the hospital after the accident; however, the other driver declined treatment.

The two cars sustained significant damage from the collision and had to be towed off the scene.

The accident occurred on the interstate, where the young man rear-ended another truck. The reality star suffered significant injuries, which caused him to be rushed to the hospital.

Accident Happened While Todd & Julie Were Given A Prison Sentence

The incident happened on Saturday, November 19th, around 5:30 pm on I-65 in Nashville, according to the Tennessee police. Grayson was driving his Ford F-150 when he collided with the rear end of a Dodge pickup truck which was stopped in heavy standstill traffic.

When the officers got to the scene of the accident, Grayson was asked what had happened. The reality star could not give any answer to explain the situation, likely because of a possible head injury. The teenager was immediately placed in an ambulance and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

“With all the legal stuff y’all got going on, Grayson, the first thing he said was, ‘This was the last thing that everyone needed,'” Savannah recalled, explaining that their dad, Todd Chrisley, assured the teen, “‘You’re alive, and you’re safe, and you’re well.'”

Savannah will take full custody of Grayson and her adopted sister, Chloe, when Todd and Julie report to prison for combined 19-year prison sentence.

The patriarch of the family was handed down a sentence of 12 years behind bars plus 16 months of probation.

He was found guilty of conspiring to defraud community banks out of more than $30 million of fraudulent loans, as well as a number of tax crimes, including conspiring to defraud the IRS, tax evasion.

Julie was given seven years in prison and 16 months of probation.

She was found guilty of wire fraud and obstruction of justice.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office noted that before the pair became reality TV stars, they submitted false bank statements, audit reports, and personal financial statements to banks to obtain the millions of dollars in fraudulent loans and then spent the money on luxury cars, designer clothes, real estate, and travel and used new fraudulent loans to pay back old ones.
