Fox News host Tucker Carlson is starting to feel the heat for his comments about the Black Lives Matter movement with his advertisers dropping like flies.
According to Deadline, Disney and T-Mobile announced they would no longer be placing ads during Tucker’s primetime program. An ABC spokesperson told the outlet, “The ABC advertisements were placed on the show without our knowledge by third party media buyers who were unaware that we do not advertise on the show, and they have now been notified not to place any further ads.”
T-Mobile said online, We haven’t run ads on Tucker Carlson Tonight since early May and have canceled all future placements. We will continue to support those who stand against racial injustice.”
The decision by Disney and T-Mobile comes after uproar grew after Tucker’s comments about the BLM movement. Other sponsors SmileDirectClub, Disney, Papa John’s and Vari have already stopped placing ads on Tucker’s show. Earlier this week, the 51-year-old conservative mouthpiece told his viewers the BLM movement wasn’t about “black lives.”
He said, “This may be a lot of things, this moment we are living through, but it is definitely not about black lives—and remember that when they come for you, and at this rate, they will.”
It definitely is not. Bye-bye Tucker Carlson! #BlackLivesMatter

Tucker has been critical about the protests over George Floyd’s murder and previously said systemic racism doesn’t exist. He added, “Imagine if the Black Lives Matter rioters had weapons and immunity from prosecution. That’s what they are talking about. Partisan law enforcement, and partisan law enforcement, incidentally, is hardly without precedent. In fact, it’s the rule in the Third World. This is an attempt to bring it here.”
One person commented, “I’m shaking I’m so angry!!! This man must be stopped. He’s a menace and a fear monger.”
Another commented, “They want to start a race war .. it’s the only thing they can do. They’re losing their grip. #unitedwestanddividedwefall.”
Tucker isn’t the only Fox News host catching heat.
