For the most part, however, the comment section did not reflect the beauty of the post, as a number of people trolled the actress for her weight loss and encouraged her to put on some weight. Nevertheless, one of some commenters, with kind words, was bold enough to call out her trolls. The person wrote:

"Stop telling her to gain weight. When she was heavy you said she needed to lose it. Besides, when did it become acceptable to body shame? Be kind."

The 'Misrepresentation' Actress Had Addressed Her Critics

It appears that Simpson isn't allowing all the negativity and unfound hate from social media to get through to her. The mum of three didn't hesitate in calling out her trolls. Per The Blast, "The Love Guru" actress while addressing the negative comments, touched on her mental health struggles and revealed how proud she was of the person she had become.

She posted a video on Instagram, singing her 2020 single "Party Of One". She proceeded to attach a motivating caption that was specifically written for her critics. The "Happy Christmas" singer first explained that she "needed to be in her studio" that day because the music usually helped her "ground herself" and "heal."

She further disclosed that her coping mechanism was to block out negative comments and "destructive noise" that affected her mental health. Simpson, however, added that although she chose to ignore them, they still hurt her a lot and triggered her insecurity.

She said in the video, "People's comments and judgments can still hurt deeply with their incessant nagging 'you will never be good enough.'" The mum of three made it a point of duty to end the video on a good note. She shared that she was proud of how far she had come and how much she had learned from the past.

On a brighter note, amid all the negative remarks about the actress, she continues to flourish career-wise and turns each negativity into positivity.

The Blast shared that Simpson disclosed on Instagram that her memoir "Open Book," which gave an exposé about the stars' high and low moments surrounding her life, got adapted as 'Amazon Freevee Pilot,' and had the potential of being turned into a series.

The businesswoman celebrated the success of her book and posted the headlines of three different news outlets that covered the story, detailing how the memoir had been modified to be turned into a tv pilot on Amazon Freevee.
