Jessica Simpson is in a celebratory mood following her memoir “Open Book” getting adapted as ‘Amazon Freevee Pilot,’ which could potentially become a series.
The ecstatic singer took to Instagram to post a series of magazine headline covers featuring her work getting adapted.
Simpson released her emotional memoir in February 2020, which focused on giving an exposé about intimate details regarding the pop star’s personal life.

The “Irresistible” singer, in a recent Instagram post, gushed about how her precious work “Open Book” finally paved the way for her and how proud she is of the project. She posted the headlines of three different news outlets that covered the story detailing how her memoir had been modified to be turned into a tv pilot on Amazon Freevee.
Opening up about the exciting news, she wrote, “I finally get to say what I have been wantin’ to say for years now so bear with me as I type through streaming (pun intended) tears of joy and Grace (another pun I can’t tell you about yet 😜.”
Simpson continued, “Open Book has opened the door to all of my wildest dreams as an artist, author, and entertainer. This project holds my heart completely, infatuates my mind on every level, and deeply seduces my soul to the core.”
The “Blonde Ambition” actress also raved about the importance of patience, writing, “I have spoken about determined patience frequently. Not until now, in this very moment, do I get to share the reward of how it feels on this side of the rainbow.”
In a much more lengthy explanation, the excited actress described her admiration for the writer and executive producer behind the newly modified “Open Book,” Tom Kapinos, and also extended her gratitude to the director and also executive producer, Adam Bernstein.
Reacting to her post, the chosen lead actress, Katelyn Tarver, expressed her gratitude, saying, “😭😭😭 thank you, Jessica! I’m so excited and honored to be a part of this!!!.”

Per Deadline, the upcoming series pilot is a propelling, musical coming-of-age story that follows pop star Sadie Sparrow’s journey, played by Tarver. In the series, Sparrow rises from a naive girl to a notable person. The show also introduces us to the family, friends, and lovers she acquires along the line. While focusing on themes of love, friendship, family, sisterhood, and soul connections.
Sparrow must come to embrace herself and accept that at the end of the day, her heart inevitably wants what it wants at every stage of life. On the other hand, Stamos plays the character Butch Thorn. Thorn is an acclaimed singer and songwriter. Has the looks and charms but fell from grace to grass.
Although life has been unfair to him, including the many divorces he has had to go through, he still maintains his swag and signature voice. He and Sparrow find themselves in a love puzzle and must figure out what they want. However, when he later finds out that she is the singer he has been assigned to write songs with, things get pretty awkward for the pair.
Simpson, alongside Lauren Auslander and Lacy Lynch, will serve as executive producers. Moran and PKM Productions will also executive produce with Amazon Studios.
