Kim Kardashian Opens Up To Daughter North West About The Night Of Her Conception

Business mogul, Kim Kardashian, opened up to her daughter North West, whom she shares with rapper Kanye West, about the night she conceived her in 2012.

The reality star was seen talking about the special day in an episode of "The Kardashians," which aired on November 24. As seen in the footage, Kim told her daughter that designer Olivier Rousteing may have played a part in North's existence, revealing that she wore a dress that he had designed the night she got pregnant.

The episode was shot while Kim was in Paris to attend some fashion shows. The SKIMS founder also shared that she brought North along to learn a lesson about finding her passion.

In the latest episode of Hulu's "The Kardashians," Kim opened up to her daughter about the night she was conceived. The reality star shared the details while she and North made a courtesy call at designer Olivier Rousteing's place in Paris, France.

Speaking candidly to her daughter, whom she shares with ex, West, the SKIMS founder explained that she wore a dress from the acclaimed designer the night she got pregnant with her.

North was conceived in 2012, less than a year after Kim started dating the "Donda" hitmaker.

"Northie, I've known Olivier since before you were a baby," Kim informed her daughter about her connection with the acclaimed fashion designer, per E! News.

She added. "And he gave daddy this blue dress that daddy wanted for me. It was my birthday the year before you were born, and I wore the dress, and I got pregnant, and you got in my belly the night I wore that dress."

While the blue dress obviously had no magical powers of procreation, its dashing look might have set the mood for a night of humping that led to North's creation.

Kim then admitted that Rousteing might have played a small role in the series of events that led to North's creation.

"So, Olivier might have a little something to do with the reason you're on this planet," Kim thoughtfully reflected.

On her part, North listened with rapt attention to her mother's story while chowing down some French fries, as seen in the footage.

Kim and Kanye have continued to co-parent the nine-year-old and their other children, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, since the reality star filed for divorce in February 2021 after six years of marriage.

Just like her mother is a renowned fashion icon who has walked the runway for the likes of Balenciaga, North has seemed eager to step into those big shoes, as seen by her overwhelming interest in fashion.

The nine-year-old has previously dressed her siblings for a Vogue photo shoot and isn't afraid to give her opinion—good or bad—on her mother's looks for photoshoots and other events.

Additionally, Kim and North were able to connect via their mutual love of fashion during their July trip to Paris, which was chronicled in the episode.

The pair were in the French capital for several fashion events, including the runway show for Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture.

For the event, Rousteing styled the mother and daughter duo in matching attire of black striped fabrics, nose rings, and oval-shaped sunglasses.

Elsewhere in the episode, Kim confessed that there was an underlying reason for bringing her daughter to Paris, revealing at the time that she wanted it to be a learning process for North.

"I really wanted to bring North on this trip because I really enjoy what I do," the mother of four explained in a confessional, per the Daily Mail. "And I want my kids to grow up really loving what they do, finding their passion, and figuring out how to make a business out of that."

Ultimately, North also had a fun time during the trip, as she was seen talking with her mom about the ecstatic crowd that chanted her name when she stepped outside their hotel for a bit.

"There was a whole crowd for me, and they were yelling at me," North told her mother, who was preparing for the Balenciaga fashion show, before mimicking the chants of the crowd.
