Addison Rae's Dad Monty Lopez & His New Girlfriend Starting Over For The 4th Time

Addison Rae’s dad Monty Lopez and his girlfriend Renee Ash are giving it the golden fourth try!

The married dad of three shocked fans of the family when it was revealed he was dating a new woman. However, the relationship backfired when Ash claimed that Lopez “manipulated” her into a relationship by acting as though he was a single man in every way but on paper.

The couple now shares that after several failed tries, they are now on the right path. It looks like the fourth time is the charm!

In an exclusive interview with PageSix, the couple shared that now, “It’s very different.” Ash went on to say she is more willing to put her foot down now. “I’m not giving him any leeway or excuses, but the first time around I was not a saint either. Second time, he f—ked up, third time, he f—ked up,” she laughs and explains away their relationship.

“But he’s making a lot of big steps and it’s just different.”

The 47-year-old influencer admitted that his marriage to his wife, Sheri Nicole Easterling was on the rocks and had been for some time. Even their daughter Addison shared at one time in her career that her parents have always been on again/off again.

While the couple got divorced when Addison was younger, they remarried in 2017 but obviously, that hasn’t worked out either. Lopez insists “our divorce is finalized,” and “what I can do from here on out, I can move forward.”

That involves Ash and their budding relationship. Addison’s mom is also confirming some kind of separation by briefly changing her IG bio to “Yes, I am single”.

Monty is so serious about Renee and their budding relationship that he is introducing her to his mom in real-time. He first told his mom about the podcast host and introduced the two over FaceTime.

“We’re actually doing this interview at my mom’s house,” the couple is there for Thanksgiving. “So it’s kind of unique because she’s never been to Lafayette and I’ve never introduced my mom to anyone,” since his ex-wife, of course.

He also wanted to make sure his mom knew that A) he is serious about the relationship and B) Renee is not who the media made her out to be.

“She’s an important person to me, so I definitely want to introduce her to my mom so my mom knows who Renée is. Because all my mom has heard of Renée or read of Renée is all on social media.”

The trip also served as an effort of commitment from Monty to Renee. “I’m trying to show [Ash] that I’m serious. That’s the only reason she’s meeting my mom.”

The “Seriously Not Starf*****s” podcast host, the trip, and the interview are about clearing the negativity around her name. “A lot of people call me a home wrecker,” she said of her reputation.

“You just have to remember anybody who’s taking the time to go out of their way and write a rude comment, like, I feel sorry for,” she says adding that she wishes them “happiness”. Monty chimed in to back up his new love.

“A lot of people call her a home wrecker and, realistically … me and my ex-wife hadn’t been together for two years. I wasn’t with my ex-wife for over a year before I met Renée. So when Renée kind of fell into the picture on accident, everyone considered her a home wrecker.”
