Offset Reveals What He Misses The Most About Late Cousin 'Takeoff'

American rapper Offset continues to mourn the loss of his beloved cousin, Takeoff, who tragically lost his life in November after an early morning shooting in Houston at a bowling alley.
The late rapper was in the company of the other Migos member, Quavo, who also happens to be his uncle. According to reports, Takeoff and Quavo were at the bowling alley playing dice when an altercation broke out, resulting in gunshots and the young rapper losing his life.
In remembrance of the late rapper, Offset recently revealed what he continues to miss about his beloved cousin.
Offset Reveals He Misses The Presence Of His Late Cousin Takeoff
The "Open It Up" rapper seems to still be struggling following the loss of Takeoff. Although he had already publicly grieved the painful loss earlier on and even changed his Instagram profile picture to a photo of Takeoff, he continues to remember the late rapper.
Taking to his Instagram in the early hours of today, the "Deadz" rapper shared a picture of Takeoff and penned down a short yet clear message.
The "Last Memory" rapper was seen wearing a customized light blue jacket that had quilted-style belts with square buckles attached to each shoulder side of the jacket. Underneath the jacket, he donned a multi-colored print t-shirt and accessorized his outfit with glittering diamond and gold necklaces and a pair of dark shades.
The late rapper wore his hair in his signature big, long braids and had on a cute smile while his picture was taken. Commenting on the smile, Takeoff captioned the post, writing, "Missing everything bout you specially that smile''.
Offset's post immediately amassed over one million likes from his followers around the world. His supporters also took to the comment section to encourage the "Stir Fry" rapper. With one writing, "Lord God please provide comfort.. 🙏 Amen."
He proceeded to his Instagram story to post a picture of the three members of Migos, all dressed up, as they appeared to be at an event. In the picture, the late rapper was seated in the middle while the remaining two stood at his sides. The photo of the trio, which Offset uploaded on his story, in a way symbolized their strength and togetherness as a group.

At the time the unfortunate incident occurred, it was a bitter pill for Offset to swallow, and he publicly mourned the devastating loss.
Per The Blast, the dad-of-five took to Instagram to drop a lengthy heart-wrenching message just a few days after Takeoff was laid to rest. He began by writing,
"Dear Take, The pain you have left me with is unbearable. My heart is shattered, and I have so many things to say, but I can't find the words. I've been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it's reality, and reality feels like a nightmare."
The "Straightenin" rapper continued by taking a trip down memory lane, he wrote, "Every time you would see me, you didn't give me a dap you, you gave me a hug. I wish I could hug you one last time. Laugh one last time, Smoke one last time. Perform one last time."
As he progressed with his message, he became hopeful and declared that he knew the late rapper was in heaven, watching down on them. While adding, "We love you and miss you. You have left a hole in my heart that will never be filled."
He concluded his message by asking that Takeoff gives him and his family the strength to move on and deal with the loss. "I love you forever, 4L and after. 🚀❤," he wrote.
Cardi B Also Penned Down A Tribute To The Late Rapper
Offset's wife, Cardi B, also had nothing but wonderful things to say about Takeoff and the life he lived. The "Up" rapper, just like her husband, is also processing the tragic death of the "Casper" rapper.
As we previously reported, fans were made aware that the "WAP" rapper, and Takeoff, shared a close relationship prior to his death following the touching message she posted on Instagram.
She started by expressing her grief, writing, "Takeoff, your untimely passing has brought a great deal of pain and sorrow to so many lives. The impact you had in this world was so considerable, and we have struggled to grasp this tragedy."
She further disclosed how the remaining Migos crew were finding it difficult to cope with his loss and prayed that the late rapper gave his cousin and uncle the fortitude to bear the loss. The Grammy winner proceeded to eulogize the "Messy" rapper and appreciated the music he shared with the world while also praising the rapper for the beautiful personality he possessed.
