The 63-year-old recently took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the "ME!" singer, and they weren't the kindest. Sixx is the latest in a variety of musicians who have expressed their dislike of Swift's artistry or their doubt about her songwriting abilities, especially her ability to compose songs on her own.

Earlier this year, Blur's Damon Albarn picked at Swift's songwriting skills in an interview, and her devoted 'Swifties' would rush to her defense after the "Snow On The Beach" singer called him out and defended herself in a tweet.

Sixx is now the latest musician to face disgruntled Swifties on social media. Read on to find out what Sixx had to say, and how Swifties are coming to her defense!

Swift has been honing her songwriting craft long before there were any teardrops on guitars, and it shows. The "All Too Well (Taylor's Version) (10 Minute Version)" singer has been recognized on the awards circuit for her contribution to songwriting since the mid-aughts, including "Songwriter-Artist Of The Decade" from Nashville's Songwriter Awards, which took place this summer.

Yet, skeptics still remain.

In Albarn's interview as mentioned above from earlier this year, the Gorillaz frontman called Swift a co-writer.

"That doesn't count," Albarn responded to a suggestion that Swift wrote her own songs. "I know what co-writing is. Co-writing is very different to writing."

Swift would soon set Albarn straight about an integral part of her artistry.

Swift quote-tweeted a response to Albarn, writing, "I was such a big fan of yours until I saw this. I write ALL of my own songs. Your hot take is completely false and SO damaging. You don't have to like my songs but it's really f*cked up to discredit my songwriting. WOW." (via The Blast)

Albarn would later apologize for his remark.

Swift hasn't purely faced criticism of her songwriting and artistry throughout her nearly two-decade-long career.

Fellow superstar Adele called Swift "one of the best songwriters of our generation" during a live-stream last month. She also expressed her love for Swift's "folklore" and "evermore" albums. (per KISS 91.5)

Oasis's Liam Gallagher, who is also famous for being quite opinionated, came to Swift's defense following Albarn's controversial comments.

"I think [Taylor's] f-king cool, man," Gallagher said. "She does write her own songs, and I'm sure she co-writes with people," Gallagher said per American Songwriter.

Nikki Sixx Criticizes Swift For 'Whining' In A Tweet

On November 19th, Sixx tweeted, "Is it just me or does Taylor Swift always seem likes she's whining about something new every-time she's going to drop an album? He also included a hashtag saying #WorlsMeMarketing.

Although Sixx did not directly address the complaints he referred to in his tweet, it was suggested in the thread's comment section he was referring to the highly-publicized debacle Swift faced with Ticketmaster last week.

Multiple Twitter users posted a photo of Sixx and Swift together from an award ceremony, circa 2010.

"if you're talking about the ticketmaster thing, ur wrong," a Swiftie tweeted. "they did her & so many artist dirty... she has the right to be upset ab it."

"and you complain a lot too, waiting for a collab!" another Swifite retorted, including the aforementioned tweet in their response.

"She's the biggest pop star I've ever seen in my life," one of Sixx's followers wrote, "Bigger than Michael Jackson. She also seems to be a good person. With success will come problems, but i think she'll do her best to make it right."

"Wow!! As a fan of both you and Taylor I am disappointed in you. What a misogynistic, uninformed comment. And yea it's just you," another fan tweeted.

"Is it just me or has Motley Crue released basically the same greatest hits package time and time again while trying to convince fans it's a must have purchase?" a follower asked.

"Whining or standing up for herself? I think all the biggest artist in the concert biz should step up and help fix problems with Ticketmaster. If live music keeps going this way, fans will start spending their money else where. It's getting out of hand. Look at the movie biz," another fan reasoned.

As of this writing, Nikki Sixx hasn't commented further on the matter.
