Babs Shares Her Amazing Thanksgiving Tips And Tricks On TikTok

In one video Babs shared on TikTok, she helps anyone wondering what size turkey to buy for the number of guests they are expecting. Who hasn't scratched their heads over that question before? She makes it simple in a cute video that helps people to know just how many bottles of wine to buy, how many sides to make and more!

According to Bab's handy video guide, if you are expecting five guests, you'll need a 6.5 pound turkey. For 10 guests, a 13 pound turkey is what you should buy. And if you are feeding 20 guests, a 26 pound turkey is advised.

While many of her followers joked that they are cooking for more people than they are expecting, some took to the comments to show their gratitude for the much-needed assistance. "You are the cutest with helping us. Definitely the hostess with the most-ess” ???," one person wrote. Another added, "Babs you are the best….I love how much joy you bring to us all! Whenever I have a question you always have the answer!!"

Babs Helps With Thanksgiving Prep With Some Do's And Don'ts

In another Thanksgiving tutorial, Babs shares "Thanksgiving Prep Do's And Don'ts" to help make the day go a little smoother with less stress. She talks about measuring for recipes, running out of stove space, and how to get all those potatoes washed and ready for cooking. "You're making potatoes for a crowd. Don't handwash all these potatoes. Do put your dishwasher to use. Load up your dishwasher with those potatoes and put it on a quick rinse cycle," she said. "Obviously no soap."

While Babs followers absolutely love and adore her tips, many dropped into the comments with things to say about the potatoes in the dishwasher hack. "My anxiety could never put potatoes in a dishwasher lol," one person wrote. Another added, "After seeing everyone’s videos of cleaning their dishwasher filter there is zero possibility I would wash food in the dishwasher."

Babs Shares A Simple Hack For Taking Home Leftovers

Another simple yet amazing hack Babs recently shared was about setting up a leftover station and using disposable cupcake tins. "Set up a leftover station and have your guests help themselves," she said as she demonstrates how perfectly leftovers fit into the cupcake tin. "Perfect serving size for leftovers. They get a little bit of everything. Just cover. And the best part, right into your oven for leftovers the next day."

Bab's leftover hack video received more than 7 million views and tons of comments. "Babs is literally the smartest lady on this planet. I ❤️? her!," one person wrote. Another added, "Mind blown! Sooo smart as all your tips are!"

Babs TikTok page also has videos sharing "wintertaining" ideas, throwback recipes, safety tips and more. In October, "everyone's grandmother" shared a great hack for carving a Halloween pumpkin. The video received more than 27 million views and got the attention of Jennifer Garner who tried out her hack and found it worked perfectly.
