Olivia Wilde And Harry Styles Have 'No Bad Blood' Amid Rumored Breakup

Popstar Harry Styles and his ex-girlfriend, Olivia Wilde, are reportedly still on amicable terms despite their recent breakup. The couple was discovered to be romantically involved in January 2021 when they were spotted holding hands during Styles' manager's wedding.

A source told the publication that neither party had dumped the other and that there was no bad blood between them at the end of the relationship. "There is no bad blood between them. Harry didn't dump Olivia or vice versa," the source said.

"This is the longest relationship Harry's ever had, so clearly they have a special bond," they continued. The source also revealed to the news outlet that the former couple faced a lot of challenges while together, and the issue of their long distance from each other contributed to the split.

"They're on a break. It's impossible to have a relationship when he's in every continent next year, and Olivia has her job and her kids," they explained. "This is the right thing for both of them."

Reports confirmed that Wilde and Styles had split after almost two years together. They were initially reported to be "taking a break" from their relationship and focusing on their individual lives. "He's still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A.," a source said per Page Six. "It's a very amicable decision."

The insider also insists that they are still close friends with each other. A separate source added, "Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart." Styles is preparing to start his South American tour, while Wilde is to move to London to work on a documentary.

The actress and her children, Otis and Daisy, all went to Styles' Los Angeles concert on Tuesday despite the break. The source explained that they would likely be seen together more often because they are on friendly terms. "Things have been challenging for them as a couple because of Harry's tour, while Olivia needs to spend time with her kids in London, where they are with Jason," another insider said per Page Six.

Wilde and Styles previously faced drama concerning their relationship while filming "Don't Worry Darling." The movie saw her play both director and actress while Styles played one of the lead roles. The drama surrounding the film stemmed from an alleged feud between the couple and Pugh, one of its cast.

Unlike her prior projects, Pugh failed to post or publicize "Don't Worry Darling" to the growing curiosity of fans. There was also speculation that the actress was unhappy with Wilde for her on-set friendliness with Styles despite still being with her ex-fiancé Sudeikis at the time.

Wilde and Sudeikis had a public and nasty split not long after and a prolonged custody battle. The custody battle made major news because at the time the actress was served papers, she was on stage at CinemaCon. After being served, Wilde continued promoting her film without batting an eye.

"The complete horseshit idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely inaccurate. Our relationship was over long before I met Harry. Like any relationship that ends, it doesn't end overnight. Unfortunately, Jason and I had a very bumpy road, and we officially dissolved the relationship towards the beginning of the pandemic," Wilde explained.

"We were raising two kids during lockdown, so we co-parented through that time," the actress continued. "Once it became clear that cohabitating was no longer beneficial for the children, it became the responsible thing to not, because we could be better parents as friends who live in different houses."
