Britney Spears just clocked herself 400,000 views in 30 minutes, reminding her 24.2 million Instagram followers that it's been 20 years since her career-launching "Oops...I Did It Again" track was released. The 38-year-old pop princess whose knotted schoolgirl shirt and teen sex appeal defined a generation updated her account on Saturday – when it's an iconic moment, you mark it.

Keep scrolling for the video. It showed Britney in the now-iconic red catsuit she donned for her debut song, also showing tender interviews of the "Toxic" singer long before she was making headlines for downwards 2000s spirals, her 2008-commenced conservatorship, or her pregnancies with rocky ex-husband Kevin Federline. Skimpy moments showing the blonde's stunning figure were included – likewise an overall reminder of what a bombshell this star was – with last week's bikini pictures, though, the consensus seems to be that Britney never lost it.

Comments poured in as fast as likes.

"Undisputed princess of pop ?," one fan wrote.

"You’re the greatest thing to happen to pop music," another said.

The latter seemed semi-proven recently as Britney's 2016 "Glory" album was driven up to #1 chart spot, seeing the singer unveil a never-before-seen album cover – it showed her bronzing her goddess body in a gold monokini amid desert sands and surrounded by chains. For some, however, the chains symbolized something more, with the #FreeBritney movement remaining firm on the star's conservatorship leaving her chained.

Britney's Instagram has found itself packed with figure-flaunting photos and videos amid COVID-19. While the "yoga pose a day" promise delivered earlier this year wasn't met, Britney's endless workout videos continue– a recent one with boyfriend Sam Asghari has topped 2.7 million views. Likewise well-received were the pool-floating bikini photos posted ahead of the weekend as Britney was dubbed "ditching" her Chantel Jeffries-organized virtual dinner party.

Britney did manage to hint that she may be done with music forever earlier this year as son Jayden said she might "quit" on Instagram Live. For the fans, though, this video likely did it.
