'BIP' Breakup Between Ency And Andrew Was 'The Most Uncomfortable Thing'

Teddi Wright and Andrew Spencer hit it off from the start of "Bachelor In Paradise," however, fans were shocked when Teddi decided to self-eliminate early on in the season, leaving Andrew heartbroken.

Andrew stayed on the beach and mingled with a few other girls, the latest being Jessenia Cruz, until Ency Abedin walked in.

The 27-year-old wanted to pursue Ency, and so he ended things with Jessenia. However, the drama didn't end there as, during the November 15 episode of "Bachelor In Paradise", Jessenia decided to pull Andrew during a dance party to tell him how she truly felt about the situation.

“I don’t think he ever took me as seriously as I took him,” she admitted to the camera during her individual interview. “I’d really like an answer and I’m feeling disheartened. I want him to know how invested I was in this process and that the way he handled things was a bit hurtful and insensitive.”

So, Jessenia went over and grabbed Andrew while he and Ency were playing a game, and pulled him aside to chat. “You have to consider the track record,” Jessenia said to Andrew. “It starts with Teddi, then Brittany briefly, then I arrive and now Ency. It’s like, you get to a point with each one, but not enough to commit or really explore something.”

As they were talking, Ency was getting annoyed and decided to interrupt the two so she could have Andrew back, however, he told her he needed a minute to finish the conversation he was having with Jessenia. “I have to finish this conversation,” he told Ency. “I’m sorry. I have to. Give me a second.”

As Andrew and Jessenia were talking, and Andrew was apologizing, Ency, once again, interrupted. “I don’t know what validation you’re giving her, but I’m asking you to walk away from this with me right now if you care to pursue anything with us,” Ency told Andrew, who ended up reassuring Ency he would come and speak with her once he finished his conversation with Jessenia.

Ency walked away, pissed off, and Andrew continued talking to Jessenia, where he finally admitted he still has feelings for Teddi. “My heart’s still with someone else,” Andrew admitted. “Teddi. That’s the reason why. I have nothing here. I tried with you, Brittany, with Ency. I can’t move on until I get clarity and I don’t have it. I could not get to a point where I felt anything crazy [for someone].”

Jessenia decided to leave the beach, and Andrew went to have the same conversation with Ency, which is where things started to get "uncomfortable."

“I felt like when you walked down those stairs, I felt something I hadn’t felt with any of the other girls here,” Andrew told Ency. “I had hope and wanted to explore that. But I don’t know now. How everything was just handled is against everything I believe. I can’t be here anymore. I swear, I try to be a great guy. It’s the one thing I try to live up to.”

“I just can’t do it anymore,” he continued. “Things were said and you everything was reacted to….it’s not you. I promise you. But I’m done. I’m literally telling you I cannot anymore.”

That is when Ency started begging Andrew to stay, holding him in place, and insisting he not leave.

Fans of Bachelor Nation were quick to respond to the moment between Andrew and Ency.

"Ency minimizing Jessenia and Andrew’s connection just to sob and beg after 24 hours," another fan Tweeted.

One member of Bachelor Nation passionately wrote, "I CAN'T with the BEGGING of Ency. WTAF they met like 48 hrs ago. She handled that earlier moment in THE WORST POSSIBLE WAY & now with the begging and NOT hearing what Andrew is trying to tell her. It's so sad these women have zero self respect or self esteem."

While another said Ency looked "foolish" for begging. "Ency begging Andrew to stay after he just said he is into Teddy still. You look foolish begging and clearly don’t care about Andrew #bachelorinparadiseabc," they Tweeted.

“Bachelor in Paradise” airs on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 PM ET. The finale will air on November 22 on ABC.
