This season of “Bachelor In Paradise” has been one for the books. From romantic relationships and roses to, of course, drama, Bachelor Nationhas tuned in week after week to see what would happen between the couples on "Paradise."
Some of the contestants on this season include fan-favorite Brandon Jones who has been dating Serene Russell since day one, Michael Allio who is currently partnered up with Danielle Maltby, and Genevieve Parisi and Aaron Clancy, who have had a bit of a rocky relationship but are still together on the show.
With reality television, comes being in the spotlight. And, unfortunately, cyberbullying. One contestant is now speaking up against the hate.
Brittany Galvin Speaks Out Against Cyberbullying
Genevieve Parisi and Aaron Clancy hit rocky waters during Tuesday, November 1’s episode of “Bachelor In Paradise” when the two had an explosive fight. Aaron got mad at his girlfriend, Genevieve, after she expressed wanting to spend more time with him one-on-one, but he seemed just wanted to have “bro” time.
“Are you really doing this? What are you coming at me for? I’ve done everything right. No other girl is mad at any dude here,” Aaron said during the episode.
Genevieve was about to leave Paradise after the fight, but on her way out, Aaron stopped her and they both ultimately confessed their love to one another.
And on Tuesday night's episode, the two had yet another fight — this time over if “itch” and “pain” are the same thing. Twitter exploded, accusing the relationship to be toxic, even comparing it to Sammi “Sweetheart” and Ron from “Jersey Shore.”
Now, Brittany Galvin is speaking out against the cyberbullying, reminding Bachelor Nation that reality television stars are "real people" too.
“Friendly reminder that public figures aren’t any less human than you,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Real people are reading your commentary on their social media.”
She continued, “We have seen the devastating effects that cyberbullying has on mental health. In a world filled with so much negativity, contribute to positivity instead.”
“Bachelor In Paradise” Reunion
Are Genevieve Parisi and Aaron Clancy still together? Will Brandon Jones propose to Serene Russell? Will Kate Gallivan apologize to Logan Palmer for the comments she made about his finances while on the show? Questions will be answered when the upcoming “Bachelor In Paradise” reunion episode airs, which former “Bachelorette” lead Rachel Recchia is calling “the messiest reunion” ever.
“As far as the taping goes, I was sitting there with Gabby,” Rachel told Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young on a recent episode of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast. “Obviously we came off a very, very messy season, and I thought our After the Final Rose was pretty messy and pretty bad.”
“But this, I think this has to be, probably, the messiest reunion that’s ever going to happen!” she continued.
“Bachelor in Paradise” airs on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 PM ET. The finale will air on November 22 on ABC.
