Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey quickly captivated Bachelor Nation thanks to their friendship and support of one another during Clayton Echard's season of "The Bachelor."
After the two got their hearts broken, the show asked both of them to become the leads on the next season of "The Bachelorette".
Rachel and Gabby have become so close and their friendship is something Bachelor Nation loves to this day. Although, now that the "Bachelorette" has come to an end, the two are beginning the next chapter in their lives. Gabby is on this season of "Dancing With the Stars" while Rachel picked up and moved to California with her now roommate Genevieve Parisi.
Gabby "Replaces" Rachel With Val Chmerkovskiy
Rachel and Gabby appeared on the latest episode of "Bachelor In Paradise" to offer some advice as they knew some of the men from their season of "The Bachelorette."
The 26-year-old pilot shared a photo of her and Gabby at the beach to Instagram with the simple caption, "oops."
Gabby commented on Rachel's post, "I miss us," to which Rachel jokingly replied, "can't believe you let Val [Chmerkovskiy] replace me."

Fans were quick to come to the duo's defense, saying no one could ever replace the iconic "Bachelorette" duo. "no one could replace this duo," one fan wrote as another chimed in, "I love you both."
A third said, "can you two just have your own show? Where you travel and do best friend things??!!! I would 10000 percent watch it."
Rachel and Gabby Remain Close Friends
Rachel Recchia recently appeared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, where she addressed the split between close friend Gabby Windey and her ex-fiance Erich Schwer, going as far as saying she is grateful for Windey because she is keeping busy by competing on “Dancing with the Stars” amid her split from Schwer.
“She is so busy right now, which in a way, I’m super grateful for this for her, because I think it’s really helpful to throw yourself into something,” she explained. “She really is practicing all day, every single day.”
Recchia concluded with, “I’m just happy she has something to focus on instead of just whatever is happening behind the scenes.”
The 26-year-old reality television star continues to support Gabby Windey in her season of “Dancing With the Stars,” even attending live tapings as often as she can.
“As much as we can talk and exchange texts we do, and I go and support her in person really any chance I can get,” Rachel Recchia explained on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast. “Whatever support and whatever she needs right now, I’m going to try to give to her, just because we all know how difficult it is, especially in the public eye.”
“Dancing With the Stars” has just entered the finals, which Gabby Windey and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy made it in to. She will be competing against “Let’s Make A Deal” host Wayne Brady and partner Witney Carson, drag queen Shangela and partner Gleb Savchenko, and reality television star Charli D’Amelio and her partner Mark Ballas.
The live finale of "Dancing With the Stars" airs Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on Disney+.
