Denise Richards is opening up about the recent drama surrounding her life on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

Weeks after it was confirmed that Denise "stopped" filming with the cast in December, the actress and mother of three appeared on "Extra TV", where she addressed rumors claiming she quit the show, reacted to Kyle Richards calling her a "ragamuffin," and offered an update on her co-parenting status with her former husband, actor Charlie Sheen, who is the father of her two oldest daughters, Sam and Lola.

According to Denise, she was asked to film two events in December but declined. That said, she didn't quit the show.

“I was asked… we were pretty much wrapped actually, in December, and I was asked to two events that we had and I did not make it to those but that was the extent of me stopping filming. I filmed as much as I filmed and I did not quit the show," she shared.

As for the two events, they appeared to be Dorit Kemsley's champagne launch and Teddi Mellencamp's baby shower.

After skipping the two events, Denise began facing rumors of having quit the show all together. However, according to her, that was not the case. Instead, she simply chose to sit out on a couple of filming sessions after facing drama and rumors regarding her allegedly romantic relationship with her co-star, Brandi Glanville.

"The only ones that have said that I quit are some of the people on the show and they never even asked if that were true or not,” she explained.

While a number of fans online were absolutely outraged by Kyle poking fun at Denise's casual appearance by suggesting she's a "ragamuffin," Denise didn't seem to be insulted by the diss at all. Instead, she was amused.

"What’s funny is when we do film the show, we’re not always aware of what else is being filmed and what everyone has said. So I saw it watching the show that she had said that and I actually laughed. I thought it was really funny," she admitted.

While the quarantine has created challenges for many separated or divorced parents, Denise said it's been smooth sailing for her and Charlie.

"It’s been great. It’s pretty much the same. We still have the same thing we talk about. And he lives very close to us. We’re lucky we are as close as we are,” she said.

To see more of Denise and her co-stars, don't miss new episodes of the 10th season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
