In a footage obtained by TMZ, Blueface, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, was out in public with his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, when a group of detectives from the LVMPD stormed the rapper, pinned him to a wall, cuffed him before carrying him off in their vehicle.

Per the publication, eyewitnesses claimed that six to eight officers were involved in the rapper's arrest, which was carried out outside of Lo-Lo's Chicken and Waffles around Hughes Center Drive.

When some eyewitnesses questioned the reason for the arrest, the officers on the scene claimed they were executing an open warrant against the rapper.

Apart from the statement released on Twitter, LVMPD has not shared any further details about the arrest of Blueface or noted if other people were involved in the October 8 shooting.

There is also no clarification if more charges will be added to the rapper's current docket in the coming days.

The rapper's arrest occurred almost a month after he posted on his Instagram page a snippet from the video for his single "Better Days 2 (Pain In The Ghetto)."

A part of the lyrics read: "One suspect, two victims, hurt all three they kids / Four, five shots, all it took to get 'em 40 years."

Blueface's Previous Arrests

In February, Blueface was taken into custody for gun possession after being pulled over for a routine traffic stop while driving through Hollywood.

The rapper was noted to have had expired license plates, which led to a consented search of the vehicle, upon which the arresting officers found a handgun in the car's center console.

None of the other occupants were arrested at the time. However, Blueface was charged with possessing a concealed weapon in a vehicle.

He was accused of carrying a loaded firearm without a license in 2019, but the matter was withdrawn in October of that year.

The police also put out a warrant for him in 2021 for assaulting a bouncer who had refused him entry into a club.
