Diddy is honoring his ex-flame, Kim Porter, four years after her passing!

The rapper and the late fashion designer were in an on-again-off-again relationship between 1994 and 2007, during which they welcomed three kids — son Christian Casey and twin daughters D'Lila Star and Jesse James.

Porter was found dead in her Los Angeles home after a bout with lobar pneumonia on November 15, 2018. Although the late 47-year-old is no longer physically with the music mogul, he continues to carry her memory within his heart.

Taking to Instagram, Diddy —  born Sean John Combs — shared a heartfelt message alongside throwback snaps of him and Porter from the years they dated. While the first slide featured the Georgia-born celeb in a white fur outfit and a crown, the second was of her and her ex-beau holding each other as they leaned against a Rolls-Royce Corniche.

A swipe to the left unveiled their son Christian — a toddler at the time, on his father's shoulder as the family of three enjoyed quality time in a body of water. Other images showed Porter landing a kiss on Diddy's cheek, the couple lovingly showing off their love at an event, and the late dark-haired queen posing in a pool.

Although his caption was short, the 53-year-old's feelings could be felt through it. He wrote, "Today we celebrate you on your rebirth day. I pray y'all get to experience a love like this. I miss you & I love you forever."

The post has already received over 200k likes and thousands of comments from fans and celeb friends like Ludacris, Jacquees, and Winnie Harlow. Fans would recall that Porter and Diddy's relationship was a tumultuous one that many thought would last forever after they welcomed Christian in 1998.

However, the opposite was the case as the couple ended their romance in 1999, having a legal face-off over child support for their son. Amid all that, Diddy and actress Jennifer Lopez dated for two years before the former Uptown Records talent director reunited with Porter in 2003.

PEOPLE recalled that they welcomed their twin daughters in December 2006 — around the same time Diddy explained that he had no plans to walk down the aisle with the mother of his kids. In his words

"I know she deserves to get married, but I'm just not ready," he said. "It's not a reflection on how much I love Kim. It's that I'm just learning how to be a good boyfriend. When I'm finished with this step, I'll move on to the next."

Less than 12 months after that interview, the couple parted ways for the final time. Despite all the legal and romantic drama and cheating allegations against Diddy, he and Porter maintained a close bond throughout the rest of the latter's life as they continued to co-parent their three children amicably.

Porter stated at the time, "We're committed to our children even if we couldn't commit to each other."

In October, The Blast noted that Diddy could not stop himself from gushing over his twin daughters with Porter following their homecoming performance. The Bad Boys Records founder showed off the girls' outfits — poms-poms and dance clothes — in a now-deleted Instagram post.

The pic, which featured their half-brother, Quincy — Porter's son from a past relationship with singer-producer Al B. Sure!, was captioned, "So proud of my girls on their homecoming performance! The proudest dad in the world."

Diddy recalled his initial worry that the girls could not "catch the rhythm" when they were six, making him concerned that they would not be able to "bop." However, things soon changed as he and his family chose not to be so bothered about the routine anymore.

Luckily, D'Lila and Jesse made their doting dad a happy man when they "slayed" with their performance, a move that Diddy was certain made their late mom proud. The "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" TV star upped the ante with four pictures showing his baby girls shining in white tiny-strapped dresses.

Diddy has also taken down the Instagram post.
