Tekashi 6ix9ine just went live on Instagram to try and best explain his reasoning for being a giant snitch. And, some are saying he actually has a point.
In the shocking confession, Tekashi 69 told a massive crowd of over 2 Million viewers that he knows he is a 'snitch' and a 'rat' but had a very good reason for doing what he did with the police.
The video, which broke Instagram's record for live stream viewers, featured the 'Gooba' rapper sitting in his bedroom looking directly into the camera to explain the situation.
Tekashi told his fans, "I snitched, I ratted" but asked, "who was I supposed to be loyal too?"
The problem is, he claims while he was away, members of the gang slept with the mother of his child and disrespected him. Also, members of the Blood's allegedly kidnapped him, beat the crap out of him, and "tried to kill him."
He went on to explain that he was down for the gang and even cut them in on his tour earnings.
So, he asked, "Were they loyal to me?"
Tekashi claims that when he met his first friend in the gang, he was 'sleeping on a rug' and he says the rap music he created helped get them out of poverty. The rapper even said he put some of the members' kids through school.
In the video, Tekashi explained he is just a 'Mexican rainbow rapper' and wasn't really "down with the gang" stuff -- but decided to roll with the crew because they could help each other in the rap business.
"I didn't do anything wrong!" Tekashi said angrily. The rapper added he would not let this keep him down and his fans are already rallying behind him.
Tekashi pointed out during the live stream just how successful his comeback had become, and explained how extremely rich he is -- adding, he has four cars he paid for including a Lambo and a Rolls Royce.
In other words, he doesn't need a blessing from other artists in the rap game to succeed.
The notorious rapper addressed the question of if he is the TRUE King of New York, and in the video, he simply said: "The King Is Back!"
Not everyone is happy about Tekashi's successful comeback. As we reported, Meek Mill posted a threatening tweet directed at the rainbow rapper saying he better be going live to apologize for being a rat.
"I hope that rat going live to apologize to the people he told on or the victim..... Y’all forgot that fast a “rat” killed nipsey he wasn’t suppose to be on the streets! That’s the only thing ima day because he’s dead... left his baby mom and child like a coward as targets!" Meek tweeted.
Tekashi's new music video reached 1 Million views in under 10 minutes.
