'Grey's Anatomy' Star Caterina Scorsone Files For Divorce From Husband Rob Giles

'Grey's Anatomy' star Caterina Scorsone, known by fans as Amelia Shepherd, has just filed for divorce from musician husband Rob Giles.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Scorsone filed to end her marriage today in Los Angeles County Court.

The 38-year-old television star just gave birth to the couple's fourth child, and it's unclear what type of custody arrangement she is seeking in the split.

The couple tied the knot in 2009 and share three children together, Paloma, Arwen, and Eliza.

Back in November, Scorsone announced she expecting another baby with Giles, and shared a photo of the family dressed up for Halloween featuring her baby bump.

“Our Family’s about to get even kookier. #pumpkinintheoven ?,” she captioned the snap alongside the photo.

The actress has been very outspoken about parenting and raising her children after daughter Pippa was diagnosed with Down Syndrome.

“What I unconsciously thought about my job as a mother was that I was supposed to equip her to survive in a competitive world,” Scorsone said in March on the Motherly podcast.

The actress explained she initially sent “into a tailspin” when she came to the understanding that Pippa “was going to have some physical differences and some cognitive differences.”

Caterina's husband, Rob Giles, is a singer-songwriter known for working with Andy Summers of 'The Police' and the band 'The Rescues.'

Giles has also written film and television projects which Warner Bros. developed two shows with the CW in 2016 and 2017.

The 'Grey's Anatomy' star's husband has yet to respond to the divorce, and the documents give no indication of what may have been issues behind the split.
