“Gold Rush” star Tyler Mahoney is capitalizing on her newfound fame and expanded her prospecting business. The Australian reality star became a breakout fan-favorite this season on Discovery’s spinoff, “Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail.” Tyler doesn’t just play a gold pro on TV, she’s the real deal and has a small business that allows her to spread her wealth and knowledge to others looking to strike it rich in the gold biz.
23-year-old Tyler greeted fans on Thursday from her home in Western Australia.
Tyler is the founder of The Prospectors Club, a digital members-only site that serves as an online community for gold mining information and discussions. For about $10 USD per month, members in Tyler’s club get to ask her questions on gold prospecting, as well as participate in webinars, community events and lots of online resources.
Up until now, Tyler had primarily been facilitating members in Western Australia, but she had a big announcement.
“We now have members in two states in North America, which is really exciting for me. That was one of my goals this year was to take The Prospectors Club out of Western Australia,” Tyler told fans.
Tyler also explained she’s currently gathering more information for gold prospecting specifically in North America and plans to release a blog soon.
Even though Tyler is excited about expanding up into North America, prospecting around Western Australia has turned out to being incredibly fruitful. After finishing up her debut season on “Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail,” Parker Schnabel made a decision to purchase some land in Australia, leaving the door open for Tyler to make a return to the hit reality show.
The move is also interesting as many fans of “Gold Rush” believe there was some serious chemistry between the two stars during their time together.
Tyler has not given anything away about her personal relationship with Parker Schnabel, but she has been posting photos of her time with the Discovery star. They do have a lot in common, as they both come from a long line of gold prospectors, and their attraction during the season was surely noticed by fans.
“So you and Parker have a thing? Or are all the fans way off?? That swimming in the natural spring was way more than just looking for gold.” one eagle-eyed viewer commented on social media.
