Taylor Lautner Ties The Knot With Longtime Partner At California Winery

"Twilight" star Taylor Lautner has exchanged vows with his partner Taylor Dome.

The pair got wedded in a private ceremony on November 11, 2022, after a year of engagement and several years of dating. Following their nuptials, they will now bear the same legal names.

Lautner had previously stated that he met his partner while he had taken a break from work, adding that he was introduced to her by his sister. The pair went public with their relationship in 2018 before Lautner popped the question in 2021.

On Friday, November 11, Lautner, 30, walked down the aisle with his longtime partner Dome at Epoch Estate Wines in California, per Daily Mail. The wedding, which only close friends and family attended, comes after a year of their engagement.

The newlyweds exchanged vows just before sunset in the unconventional setting before taking cute shots with their wedding party and guests.

For the ceremony, Lautner wore a white shirt, black tuxedo, and matching trousers, pairing the combo with a bow tie. His groomsmen also donned the same classy attire.

Meanwhile, Dome wore a sleeveless white gown with floral embroidery and a veil with the same pattern. She let her long blonde hair cascade down to her shoulders and was holding a bouquet of white roses.

Her bridesmaids looked gorgeous in uniquely tailored dresses of various lengths and necklines that were all forest green in hue. Like Dome, they each carried bouquets of white roses for the special event, enhancing the ambiance of the setting.

Earlier in the year, Lautner told People how he met his partner. He shared that it happened at a time when he had taken time off from his busy acting schedule.

"I wanted to take a step back and enjoy life and spend some time with my family and friends," he told the publication. "My sister Makena actually introduced us. She called me and said, 'Dude, I found your future wife. You need to meet this girl.' And the rest is history."

For a while, they kept their relationship under wraps, finally going public in 2018. Fast forward three years, Lautner got down on one knee in a charming private setting adorned with rose petals and lit candles.

"And just like that, all of my wishes came true," Lautner captioned photos from the proposal on Instagram. Dome also penned words of the dedication on Instagram after posting the same pictures for her fans.

She captioned the post, "My absolute best friend … I CAN NOT WAIT TO SPEND FOREVER WITH YOU."

Similar to their unconventional wedding, the pair are starting married life with another unique scenario.

Lautner and Dome share the same first name, which implies that they would now bear the same legal name, Taylor Lautner. The "Tracers" actor had disclosed in August that his then-fiancée would swap her surname with his after their nuptials.

"[I was] like, are you into this last name? Because we already share one name. So it's gonna be extra complicated,' the actor recalled a conversation he had with his wife during his appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show."

He then added that sharing the same first name had already complicated things, explaining that some people use "boy Tay" or "girl Tay" to specify which one they are addressing during conversations.

Before getting wedded, the pair thrilled fans with images of themselves from private outings and other cute events, finding time to enjoy their relationship despite their busy careers.

While Lautner is an actor, Dome is a registered nurse. In 2019, just after completing her schooling, she publicly shared her gratitude to the "Twilight" star for standing by her as she studied to get certified.

"Thank you for encouraging me when I felt like quitting. Thank you for your calming hugs when I would be getting an anxiety attack. Thank you for supporting me endlessly. You mean the world to me & I wouldn't be where I am today without you," Dome shared on Instagram at the time, alongside a photo of them having an emotional hug.
