Chelsea Handler only wants to be with one partner when being intimate. The 47-year-old made her preference known recently in a serious yet funny video.

Popularly known for always making short videos when addressing topics that pique her interest, Handler didn’t hesitate to make a new one on an issue that directly affected her.

The comedian, while posting to her Instagram account, made a full disclaimer informing her followers and the public in general that she wasn’t interested in a "throuple" relationship. As you might well know, a "throuple" is a romantic relationship between three people.

Handler seems to already know what works and what doesn’t work for her. The comedian took a stance on the relationship aspect of her life.

The “Chelsea Lately” host got candid with her followers on Instagram, where she explicitly addressed and warned couples to stop approaching her to have a romantic relationship with them.

Speaking to her followers from the comfort of her stylishly decorated living room, Handler donned a black v-neck blouse and blue jeans. She had her blonde hair styled into a center parting, allowing it to fall loosely to her shoulders.

Letting the camera roll, she began, “This is a PSA to couples that are looking for a third party to be in their throuple. I’m not the one. I joke around about being in throuples but I am in platonic throuples.”

She further added, “I don’t want to duck a couple. Okay? I’m not interested in you approaching me. I’ve been approached by two couples. Now that I am single and on the market, people are expecting things from me that I am not ready to give or even hear about”.

As she tried concluding her statement by saying, “So please stop approaching me and inviting me,” she got interrupted by one of her friends who chimed in and said, “I’m open.”

A stunned Handler looked at her friend and smiled before adding, “Okay, well she’s open. Have a great day.” She simply captioned her post by writing, “I’m flattered but not interested.”

The Tv Host Intends On Remaining Childless

Handler not only has strong beliefs but is also a firm supporter of vocalizing her values and opinions, which sometimes might not sit well with other individuals.

Per The Blast, the “This Means War” host didn’t mince words when cautioning an individual whose unsolicited opinion clashed with her view on a delicate subject. The “After Lately” actress posted a video on her Instagram account in response to the unidentified individual who made the post on Twitter.

The tweet read, “Millenials who are very cavalier about not having children are in for a shock when they enter their 40s & realize life is only half over. What do you do at that point? Keep trying to be sexy & have fun. I expect to see a lot of sadness & confusion about what to do at that point.”

Addressing the controversial tweet, she branded the writer an “a**hole”, and said, “Yeah, you keep the party going. The whole point of not having kids is to keep the party going! You can have fun. You can experiment with drugs, you can read books if you like, you watch tv until four in the morning, or you can go to bed at seven”.

She further added, “That’s the luxury of being an independent person with no responsibilities to little people”. The “Funsize” actress appeared very pissed as she spoke from her beautifully-decorated living room.

The comedian, however, concluded her speech on a light note by captioning her post, writing, “Keep the party going”.
