The celeb world has stepped up in the time of coronavirus. They've rallied together for a number of at-home concerts and fundraisers that are getting hard to keep track of...not to mention the countless live streams on their own feeds. For the most part (and with some exceptions), this pandemic has really brought out the best in the celebrities we love.

What we need to talk about is a comeback combo that was almost as unexpected as the virus itself.

What we need to talk about is Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes.

Lindsay Lohan | Facebook

It's already been an entire month since LiLo told us she was back in a not-so-cryptic tweet - a tweet that read, "I'm back!" Attached was a 30-second video that did pose a bit of mystery - several TVs played paparazzi videos as some of her career-defining headlines were muttered underneath. Then, Lohan appeared via voiceover to audibly say: "I'm back!"

Lohan followed up with a new song titled 'Back to Me,' once again letting the world know that she is, in fact, back.

Lohan told Twitter her "song is about rediscovering and accepting oneself, shutting out the noise and moving forward and letting the past go. Living in the now."

A great message, except we don't want to forget LiLo's iconic past. Her face is the one attached to many mid-2000s memories (late '90s if you're extra lucky). Speaking of which: In a recent at-home interview, the singer/actress sparked rumors that 'Mean Girls' was possibly up for a sequel. This was in the same sitting that she revisited the photo with Britney Spears & Paris Hilton.

We'd like to connect the dots to another same-era star who - of all times - has also resurfaced. It's just a little bit too uncanny.

Amanda Bynes | Instagram

It was in late February that Amanda Bynes began a series of odd online appearances. One topic the former child star spoke on was on the "terrifying experience" of being chased by photographers that produce ugly photos of her. She also seems to have a face tattoo - and maybe an engagement ring?

On March 9th, she shared a selfie with the person she calls "my love." This mystery man, later revealed to be named John Michael Tolliver, is alleged to be someone "she met at the end of 2019." Bynes has since removed her ring pictures, but her Tolliver has not.

And then, one week later, she posted a sonogram picture.

Bynes deleted the baby post just two hours later (as did her Tolliver) before disappearing again. Her attorney stated "she is seeking treatment for ongoing mental health issues," but that any accusations of "drug or alcohol addiction issues are completely false."

Regarding alcohol and since-deleted posts, Lohan famously put Bynes on blast in a shady 2012 tweet.

"Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?" the ex-Disney star wrote at the time. You won't find Lohan's tweet online anymore, but the evidence and resulting backlash is all over the internet.

There's not much more to report except that yesterday (April 30th) was the 16th anniversary of 'Mean Girls' releasing in the US - and 'What A Girl Wants' dropped on Netflix today.

This just can't be a coincidence.
