The sensational actress will turn 85 on December 21; however, time seems to have stopped for the energetic entertainer. Despite her age and ongoing health problems, the Oscar winner continues to thrive.

Jane Fonda Raises Money For Charity While Battling Cancer
When it comes to having a good time, the film icon knows how to party. However, there was nothing better than bringing joy to others. Just ask the 84-year-old entertainer.
As you might know, the Hollywood veteran announced that she had been diagnosed with "non-Hodgkin's lymphoma" in September. Although she is currently on chemotherapy, it did not stop the "Barbarella" star from letting loose at the Pink Castle, a private residence in Buckhead.
The birthday bash was organized to generate funds for the actress's teen pregnancy prevention and adolescent health organization, the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential (GCAPP). Thanks to the amazing turnout for Fonda's birthday bash, over $1 million was raised for the foundation.
How does the "Book Club" actress have the strength to organize events and attend parties while undergoing cancer treatment? Well, power comes naturally to the two-time BAFTA honoree.
"I'm not losing my hair. I don't feel nauseous," she told People Magazine at the event. "The week when I get the chemo is hard, but then after that, I feel good. I feel very strong."
At Thursday's gathering, the 84-year-old confessed to feeling weak from chemo treatments. However, she found solace because she was "halfway through" the process, which was "easier than a lot of other" cancer treatments.
Overall, the actress felt "great" and looked better than ever as she joined the event's host, comedian Heather McMahan onstage. Looking stunning in an embellished black dress, the National Women's Hall of Fame inductee sat in a flower seat.
In attendance for the fundraiser/birthday party were A-listers like Tyler Perry, Ludacris, Glennon Doyle, Sara Blakely, Sanjay Gupta, and his wife Rebecca, amongst others. Guests were treated to stellar performances by icons such as Gladys Knight.
Days before the event, Fonda opened up about having no regrets to the news outlet. The Hollywood veteran, who has always lived her life to the fullest, explained that she has no plans to stop.
"I've lived a good life. I've lived a productive and intentional life. And dying is part of life. I hope that I can be an example to young people so they won't be afraid of getting older."
As a frequent preacher of living in the moment, the SAG award nominee continued with the inspiring words: "Even the days that I get chemo, I still do a workout. It's slow and not what it used to be, but still, I'm moving and keeping strong."
One of the best qualities of the "Our Souls at Night" star is her ability to embody her ideals. A month after she announced her Non- Hodgkin’s Lymphoma diagnosis, The Blast reported that the positivity Queen returned to the spotlight with a banging entrance.
As she stated in her September health update on Instagram, the 84-year-old did not allow the disease to stop her from enjoying every moment, especially activism. Fonda's first public appearance was at the 2022 Pennsylvania Conference for Women.
The New Yorker took the stage in a gorgeous gray ensemble featuring a plaid blazer, white shirt, and plain trousers. She joined the nonprofit event to discuss the "professional and personal development" of women.
Lily Tomlin Is Proud Of Her Best Friend Amid Her Cancer Battle
Following Fonda's cancer announcement in September, her best friend Lily Tomlin's reaction. The actress's "Grace and Frankie" co-star had nothing but kind words for the New Yorker.
The "All of Me" star expressed her gratitude to God because her friend was not in danger as she had "one of the most treatable forms" of cancer. The Detroit native noted that her longtime Pal's positivity had not decreased with her diagnosis.
"She’s like, 'So are you gonna come to my next fundraiser?' " Tomlin said, "That’s her main objective." Yet again, this proves that Fonda remains a force to be reckoned with.
