Halle Berry Destroys Instagram In See-Through Lingerie Look She Calls 'Casual'

Halle Berry set Instagram on fire today. The 53-year-old Oscar winner dropped a bombshell photo on Thursday – early responses from the "Catwoman" star's 6.1 million followers suggested it to be a very Thirsty Thursday indeed. Halle has mostly been making headlines this month for her mind-blowing MMA-trained body – she completed three years worth of martial arts training in just six months for "John Wick: Parabellum."

Seen below, Halle's photo proved a far cry from the low-key home vibes seen in March as the star showed off her "next level delicious" Cheesy Bacon Ranch Chicken. Seen posing outdoors and shot in black-and-white, the actress was flaunting her killer curves and steely muscles in a sexy slit lingerie dress with a sheer bodice – the spaghetti-strapped number was slightly blowing in the wind as Halle stood amid trees, shooting the camera lens down with a piercing gaze. Messy bun hair completed the bombshell look as Halle confirmed a throwback situation.

"Casual #TBT," she wrote.

Racking up over 40,000 likes in an hour, the update proved an immediate hit, also bringing the ReSpin fitness founder's fans out in full force.

"Omg you're so gorgeous," one fan wrote.

"Only you can rock a quarantine look," another said.

"Damn, good old days" was another comment, with one cheeky user writing: "Now we're talking."

Halle recently blew Instagram away with a poolside photo – bathing suits are a rarity on the star's Instagram, with 2020 seeing a heavy focus on fitness as Halle both promotes her ReSpin brand and gears up for MMA movie "Bruised."

Halle recently opened up to Women's Health about her grueling workouts:

“Last fall, when I was preparing for my film #BruisedTheMovie, I set the goal to build really visible, muscular abs. I had to look (and perform) like a professional MMA fighter, so, in addition to practicing MMA for four hours every day, I was also doing about 45 minutes of general strength training and 15 minutes of work just on my abs. We threw the kitchen sink at my core and, let me tell you, it took serious dedication," she said.

Halle's headline-making amid COVID-19 has been repeated. The star fronted media outlets earlier this month for posing nude and in high heels as she took on the Pillow Challenge – the chic look got the thumbs-up from "Friends" alum Jennifer Aniston.

More controversial, was a trolling comment left to Halle's 6-year-old son Maceo clambering around in high-heeled boots – after a fan queried the gender-appropriateness of the situation, Halle fired back: "Well it's a he and he is having a ball. Tryna cope the best he can. Laughter helps a lot right now! It’s tight on these kids right now. Let’s have a laugh and some compassion."
