The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Dorit Kemsley and her husband, Paul "PK" Kemsley, addressed the many rumors regarding their finances during last week's episode of the show's 10th season.

According to a report from All About the Real Housewives on April 26, Dorit and Paul's new home in Encino, California, which was purchased for $6.5 million, was featured on last week's show before the couple opened up about the numerous lawsuits filed against them in recent years in their cast confessional.

After Dorit confirmed that she and her husband do own their new home, despite rumors to the contrary, Dorit admitted that the residence is only in her name before slamming the press for creating a fake narrative about the two of them being broke.

“It’s terrible, particularly because it comes from a time that I didn’t even know you,” PK explained of his past legal troubles. “I’m sorry – it upsets me.”

“The really funny thing is that this has nothing to do with me and yet I’m somehow in the middle of it, which is okay because we go through life together,” Dorit added.

“I’m just embarrassed you have to read it, that’s all,” Paul continued.

According to Paul, he began working in real estate years ago and quickly made a name for himself in the industry after building a nearly $2 billion business.

“That was peak. We had a good run,” Paul confirmed. “And then the world flipped upside down and is now commonly known as the credit crunch. It was a financial tsunami.”

“When I met Dorit, I was a little better off than broke," he confessed.

“Very little off,” Dorit added.

During the episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a producer questioned Dorit and Paul about how they cope with the drama surrounding their finances.

“There’s a few things that have been following you around. The stuff about the house, the stuff about the bankruptcy, the stuff about frozen accounts, the stuff about these are con artists. How do you answer to that? It follows you. It doesn’t go away. You ignoring it doesn’t make it go away,” the producer said.

“I answer that by knowing who I am,” Paul explained.

“I can’t shut the noise down, but I certainly can’t spend my life engaged in that negative energy," Paul continued of his decision to steer clear of the negative rumors plaguing his family.

“People are going to write what they want to write. People are going to believe what they want to believe,” he added.
