Madonna Wants 'To Be Your Dog' But Her Fans Label It 'Embarrassing'

Madonna is back at it with her risqué content, but how much more can her fans accept? 

Recently, the pop icon has been in the news over some controversial posts she’s been making. From speaking about her sexuality to twerking online, the singer has caused tongues to wag. This time, she mimicked a dog while dressed in revealing outfits.

On Instagram, the Grammy winner shared a raunchy clip of herself. In the video montage, the songwriter donned a green furry crop top which she paired with tiny black glitter shorts and fishnet tights. She added a pair of black gloves and white sunglasses while accessorizing the sultry look with several silver necklaces. 

In the video set to The Stooge's “I Wanna Be Your Dog,” Madonna struck several controversial poses that sparked several comments. The video began with her sitting on a motorbike; then, it progressed to show her posing with her posterior shot out. Another scene from the montage showed her squatting atop a hot sauce bottle. 

Before the video ends, there is a blurry moment when she bent on all fours as she lapped from a bowl, imitating a dog, as the line “I wanna be your dog” sang out. 

Madonna, who was feeling herself, took to Instagram stories to post more raunchy images from her previous clip. One picture revealed the 64-year-old on all fours in front of a dog bowl which she captioned, “Be your,” adding a dog emoji. Another image featured her long legs clad in fishnet stockings and thigh-high suede boots. 

Although the “Vogue” singer was having fun exploring other parts of her with the video, fans were not having it. Several of them criticized the actress for that display, also noting that they were getting tired of her. 

One concerned fan wrote, “It’s getting more and more embarrassing. It’s not easy to be your fan anymore. You were an icon sadly now without style.” 

Another user pointed out, “None of this is thought provoking or ‘different.’ You lost touch. You used to be ahead of the game. You created it. The changes to your body too. This is all screaming desperation to stay young or relevant. The last any of us would have expected from Madonna.”

More observers continued to berate the record producer in the comments. This user penned a lengthy write-up focusing on his displeasure while claiming that the singer has departed from her iconic self. 

The fan wrote, “ You’re At it again! What is this? It’s so sad to see you destroy the iconic Madonna style! I’m sorry I have been your fan since I was a kid.... and I just cannot accept this garbage style... no class...no elegance you have created for yourself!”

The disappointed fan added, “It has no meaning...no depth...this is not Art...This is you destroying the iconic Madonna that you created!“

In addition to the criticism, one avid fan hinted at unfollowing the singer, writing, “I used to love Madonna but this is just pitiful, I am so sad to see her disrespecting herself like this, girl this is no class what has happened to you? Time to unfollow.”

Another user mocked the “Frozen” singer, writing, “they say licking from a dog’s bowl with heavy filters on your face is the new 40...” while another threw a question at Madonna. “Do you think you are sending the right message for women? Being sexy is one thing… licking out of a dog bowl?? Really?? It's embarrassing and degrading to yourself and women!”

This video update comes days after the acclaimed queen of pop dropped a twerking video. Per recent reports from The Blast, Madonna wore only underwear as she showcased her twerking skills on tiktok.

She could be seen in the video jiggling her waist and fondling her boobs as she danced to the opening verses of Luclover’s song “L$D” playing in the background.

When the line “bubble butt cost ten, lift it up” started playing, she extended her tongue to lick her lips before turning to the camera to continue shaking her assets. 

In the post’s comment section, her followers voiced their fears over the singer’s actions, asking if she was okay. 

“It’s like she’s going through a Britney Spears moment,” one fan said, referencing the singer’s past mental episodes.

Amidst the backlash, other users seemed to think it was wonderful and that the pop icon should be allowed to do whatever she wanted. One fan said, “She’s such a vibe. When I’m her age, I wanna be this free, full of life and not giving a damn.”

Before this, she uploaded a video of herself lip-syncing lyrics about hitting someone in the “mother f*king face.” Last month, she appeared to come out as gay in a video she made, although she hasn’t clarified this yet.
