Newlywed Sarah Hyland Talks Feeling 'Like A Grownup' Since Wedding To Wells Adams

Sarah Hyland is enjoying every bit of married life!

The “Vampire Academy” star and Wells Adams got married this year with a vineyard-themed ceremony. Although the lovebirds got engaged in 2017, they had to postpone their wedding because of Covid-19.

Now that they are married, the latest wife feels like a real adult. In a recent update, the latest wife raved about the perks of being a married woman after so long.

In a recent interview, the “Modern Family” star got candid about married life while highlighting how she’s been savoring every bit of it. 

Citing an instance where she got to enjoy getting hitched, Hyland recalled, “I actually had a doctor's appointment the other day, for a check-up, and it was the first time where I got to check the 'married' box on the forms.”

She continued saying, “I was like, 'Oh my god!' Because we've been engaged for three years before we got married. So, you know, you have the ring on your finger and you're like, 'I really wanna check that box!'"

The stunning actress then declared to ET Online that being married is good. She mentioned how life has been better and excellent now. As for one of the most significant changes she's felt, Hyland explained, "For me, I was like, 'I feel like a grown-up now!'"

While the 31-year-old is excited about everything that comes with being married, her husband, on the other hand, can’t get over their wedding. Per reports from The Blast, the 38-year-old heart rob gushed about his wedding day in an interview. 

The “Bachelorette” alum took a trip down memory lane, spilling juicy details of the special day. The reality star disclosed one of his favorite parts of being married. In his words, “Once you get married, you’re allowed to have sex, which is pretty cool.” It seems that the radio personality has been waiting for this. 

In addition to this personal information, Adams pointed out a sensational moment for him on the big day. “I think it was seeing her turn the corner and walk down the aisle in her dress,” he recalled. “That was pretty epic.”

Also, he appreciated everyone who showed up to the special occasion admitting that they added some flavor to the nuptials. “It was also really cool to see all these different amalgamations of people from different factions of our life come together to celebrate us. They all got along so well,” he explained.

"The Bachelor" alum kept on praising the wedding, describing it as “just the coolest party.” He gushed, “We kept saying, ‘ We wish we were invited to this wedding. It looks like it’s so much fun.'” 

Fans may recall that the ceremony between the couple was the talk of the town. They exchanged vows at Santa Ynez, CA. at Sunstone Winery, which was perfect considering its vineyard theme. 

Hyland donned a stunning custom-made Vera Wang dress while her beau wore a black fitted Gucci tuxedo. In attendance were their close friends and family, and the ceremony was officiated by the bride’s on-screen uncle in “Modern Family,” played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson. 

Although they recently tied the knot, they have been in love for half a decade. They started their romantic relationship in 2017 when Adams slid into Hyland DMs. 

Last month the adorable pair went all out celebrating their love journey. They made a joint Instagram post where they professed love for one another. 

“5 years of I love you’s today ?Happy half a decade baby ?” they captioned the picture, which showed them on their wedding day, kissing passionately at sunset. 

Several of their fans remembered when the duo started dating, and they raved in the post's comments while congratulating them. One fan remarked, “wow! Time flies. I remember when you said very early on, “I think he is the one!” while another fan added, “Congrats to you too.”
