Emily Ratajkowski and Julia Fox have surprisingly known each other for a while and have several similarities, including being New Yorkers and single mothers to male kids.

They also seem to be in support of the infamous Amber Heard following the defamation trial between the actress and her former husband, Johnny Depp. And now, while discussing challenges as a woman on Emrata's "High Low" podcast, they touched on the injustice of abused females not being heard while defending their decision to back Heard.

Fox may not directly hate men, but she admitted to Emrata that she hated "the patriarchy" and its influence on the male population. Speaking on their similar experiences as single moms raising kids, the Italian-American actress dished advice on how to raise boys without them being "city brats" and becoming entitled.

Another part of their conversation centered on Fox's past as a "dominatrix," where she opened up about the damage done to her as a young adult using her body to be powerful. Her support of Heard was evidently due to her experience as an abused woman, which Emrata believed was "incredible."

The women's health advocate also noted that social media users were "so angry" as they came for her after making a "little comment" about the situation. Fox talked about a TikTok "movement" formed in relation to Heard and Depp after people had read all the documents released.

She added that if such could happen to someone like Heard, whom she described as a "white, blonde, beautiful, successful actress," no female was safe, as it could happen to any woman.

The "Uncut Gems" actress felt "compelled" to say something, adding that social media commenters do not fathom the extent of their actions. She said, "[They] don't realize this is going to damage women, all of humanity, all the women in the world are going to suffer from this."

Emrata butted in, saying that it was already "so scary" to come out as a woman and discuss their experiences which Fox agreed. She explained:

"Abuse is so insidious, and sometimes you don't even know you're being abused, and sometimes you're being abused, but you don't want to see yourself as a victim, so you try to be tough and fight back, so then it can be like "we fight each other."

The February-born model admitted that she always stood up for abused women because she was one in that situation and was aware of how lonely it was. Knowing how scary such an experience could be, she stated that the victims were placed in situations where people they had known their whole lives believed they were liars when they were not.

The "Gone Girl" actress then pointed out the way people turned Heard into "this hysterical character," which Fox confirmed, calling it "f**ked up."

Following Emrata's divorce from her former husband, Sebastian Bear-McCkard, she has quickly moved on with her life as she embraces being a single mom to her only son, Sylvester Apollo. The Blast reported that she also spoke candidly to Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on the "Today" show about her life since the split.

The "iCarly" star felt "so nice" being single for the first time in her life as she maintained that she did not owe anything to anyone other than her son and was solely focused on doing her "own thing."

She also spoke about being a serial monogamist before ending her marriage, which she believed was her way of protecting herself while working in a "really crazy industry" with a lot of "predatory, scary men."

Nearly a month before Emrata discussed her life post-separation, Fox got candid with her social media fans about her mental health struggles, particularly OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).

The Blast noted that she confessed that they were "very difficult" to manage and with ADHD, she would have "bouts of great productivity" sometimes but would feel unproductive at other periods.

As for the 32-year-old's OCD condition, she recently discovered she had it and had lived with it for a while without realizing it was an issue she had previously coped with by smoking weed.
