Chanel McFarlane Slams Ex DJ Mustard Over Failed Relationship

Chanel McFarlane is opening up about getting no money from her previous marriage. 

The social media sensation and Dijon Isaiah McFarlane, professionally known as DJ Mustard, tied the knot in 2020 with a lavish wedding. However, in 2022, Mustard filed for a divorce, revealing that they had signed a prenuptial when they got married. 

Several months after their divorce, the 30-year-old declared that she received no money after the marriage ended due to the prior agreements she had signed.

On her Instagram stories, the Sleep Ova founder reposted a snap of her and her kids posing together with radiant smiles on their faces. Accompanying the image was a caption where the YouTuber praised herself for not causing a fight after the divorce, even when she got no money from the DJ after being with him for so long. 

“Shoutout to me for real.” She wrote. “I walked away from everything I ever knew, signed a prenup even tho I was “shooting in the gym” and still didn’t put up a fight.”

She then added that she’s solely taking care of her kids, and it’s the most “rewarding feeling.” This update is quite surprising as the businesswoman and her estranged husband share three kids, and neither of them has openly said anything about child support and custody rights.

Following this, the stunning mother of three called out her ex-husband as regards the split. She reposted a sultry image of herself in a black thigh-high slit dress paired with a brown leather jacket. She posed with a wine glass in her hands and flashed a bright smile for the camera. 

Alongside the snap, she threw shades at the award-winning producer in the caption. “I keep private for others' comfort. But you get no cool points for fucking over your day 1. I’m solid and loyal as they come ?. I bring more money to the table and will always add to the table I sit and eat from,” she penned.

On the brighter side, the model has chosen to accept healing and let go of all the bitter feelings accumulated following the heartbreaking separation. She made this affirmation by reposting a prayer from a channel that read, “Today I choose to release everything that has tried to hold me back. I release the bitterness; I release my failures and missed opportunities. 

The write-up further read, “Instead, I embrace your grace and power to boldly move forward into the blessing you have for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Fans may recall that in May, the former couple ended their marriage. The Blast reported that the model confirmed the separation with an Instagram update.  She wrote, “Thank you for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Anyone that followed me or knows me personally knows my family means the world to me.”

In the concluding parts of the sad update, the LA native declared that it was heartbreaking to see the relationship end as she had devoted “twelve loyal years” to it.

The news broke out that DJ Mustard filed for an annulment of their marriage in the Los Angeles County Courts earlier in May.

As for their finances, the duo’s property and funds will be divided based on their prenuptial agreement, which would also determine the amount of spousal support.

Also, the record producer requested that his “jewelry and other personal effects” be categorized as his private and individual property with “earnings and accumulations…before marriage, during marriage, and from and after the date of separation.”

Just days after ending his marriage, the beatmaker was spotted at Las Vegas hotspot Circa Resort & Casino partying like the single man that he is. The Vegas hot spot is always packed with celebrities clamoring to have a good time. 

It was evident that the newly single producer was ready to party and perhaps mingle, but first, he had a fill of the hotel’s notable steakhouse, Barry’s Downtown prime. The songwriter took to social media to praise the mouth-watering experience while tagging celebrity chef Barry S. Dakake, saying, “Great place, I’ll be back ASAP!”
