Travis Barker is honoring his "boy Blue" in a permanent way!
The drummer's family owned a dog named Blue sadly passed away recently. He is said to have been with them for many years, as far back as 2014, while he was still married to his ex-wife. Known for getting inked for important things and people in his life, the star deemed it necessary to do the same for their late pet.
Travis Barker Gets Realistic Tattoo In Honor Of French Bulldog's Passing
Making sure to get only the best to help with remembering his Frenchie, the Blink-182 star invited a well-known celebrity tattoo artist based in Los Angeles, Dr. Woo, to do the job. Barker posted images and videos to his Instagram page, revealing the realistic illustration of the late pup.
In the first picture, the father-of-two, dressed in a white round-neck shirt and black shorts, lay with his hand placed on top of his beanie-covered head in the tattoo parlor as the artist worked on the design on his left thigh near his knee. The following slide was a closer video of Dr. Woo adding finishing touches and wiping off excess ink.
The following two pictures gave major artistry as Blue's head was shown on paper and then on regular drawing ink on his leg before the main process. Finally, the next snap was the finished work with the musician's skin still looking sore from the needle but beautiful as the legendary artist wiped off residues of ink with fluid, leaving it glistening.
The last slide showed Woo dressed in a black jacket with a face cap and a mask looking at his stand with the drawing of the late pet placed on it. He captioned the post, "Grateful for this tattoo @_dr_woo_ honoring my boy Blue 🙏🏼."
It is safe to say everyone in the family felt the loss as he seemed exceedingly beloved by all of them. However, it looked to have hit his daughter, Alabama, harder than the rest of the family. Taking to her Instagram story, the young teenager penned a sweet tribute.

The loss of a very loved pet is a feeling people can relate to, and The Blast shared that the family, Travis, his daughter and ex-wife Moakler mourned the loss of their french bulldog Blue on their respective pages.
Devastated, the 16-year-old uploaded a short clip on her expired story that showed her hugging him tight and rubbing his body. She wrote, "I love you, Blue. You will never understand how much you helped me on my darkest days."
The sad teen recalled how he would sleep next to her and how she would throw his ball as he ran in excitement. Adding, "or the eyes you had that touched everybody, I'll never forget you, my baby. I know you'll have the most amazing time up in doggy heaven. Until we meet again, my love."
Not stopping there, she posted videos and pictures of the little dog, including one of him wrapped in a blanket as his soulful eyes looked straight at the camera. Her mother also wrote, "Rest In Peace you beautiful boy! You were a beautiful friend and gave so much love. #blu" across a picture of the adorable pup laying on the floor as he stared ahead.
The "Transplants" member uploaded a video of the father-daughter duo rubbing Blue on his head as he penned, "I'll miss you, Blue. You were the best dog. I was always waiting for you to say something. Love you 4ever, boy." He also shared a snap of cradling him as he placed a kiss on the dog.
"Meet The Barkers" Alum And Kourtney Kardashian Purchase First Home Together
The couple, who got married in three separate ceremonies, did not stop living separately until recently that The Blast shared that they might be heading towards blending their family under one roof soon.
Kravis made their first real estate investment together as newlyweds by buying the Carpinteria home from "Late Night Host" Conan O'Brien. With a view of the ocean, the house boasts 2,142-square-foot views of the coastline and Channel Island, according to TMZ.
Bought at $14.5 million, it features a large deck with ample space to get their intense PDA on, outdoor showers, and water equipment storage for when they want to surf or be in the water.
Initially cost $16.5 million, they got a good deal as O'Brien was eager to sell off the property, which had been listed since July. The house purchase was also special as it was close to Santa Barbara, where Barker got on one knee to propose to Kourtney.
