Bella Thorne seemed to do the best she could today. The 22-year-old actress, singer, director, and writer took to Instagram with a photo-heavy update to mark Earth Day – she joins celebrities including actress Karrueche Tran and British model and actress Elizabeth Hurley who have both mentioned the calendar date.

The snaps landing on Bella's Instagram on Wednesday were mostly throwbacks as the "Life of a Wannabe Mogul" author self-distances. They also included a captioned-mentioned apology – Bella was "sorry" that she hasn't always been too "good" to the planet.

Bella's post covered a variety of looks and scenarios. They included the star shooting the camera a piercing gaze as she flaunted her curves in a leopard-print bikini amid foliage – the greenery theme continued in an image of the "Midnight Sun" actress running across a lawn in an eye-catching and tight pink-and-white bikini.

Bella comes with a boyfriend. While Italian pop star beau Benjamin Mascolo is stuck in Italy amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Bella had shared a throwback of the two passionately kissing in water, with Bella once again bikini-clad here and in a solo snap.

Fan responses seemed geared towards two things – either attempting to get Bella to widen the bikini portfolio or actually answering the question in the caption.

"More bikini pics please," one fan wrote, although others gave a nod to Earth Day.

"Turn your fans off, use less AC and power, flush less, shower every other day, reduce and reuse plastics, buy sustainable clothes," one user said.

"Going vegetarian/ eating less meat is good for the planet because the animals we eat produce many bad gases. So the less we eat, the less they’re bred and then less gas is produced. Love you !! ❤️" was another comment.

Bella recently made headlines for marking the passing of her father, alongside celebrating 4/20 by getting baked on Instagram. The star has also voiced concern for mom Tamara's Crohn's Disease diagnosis amid coronavirus.
