Sorry to burst your bubble, but Rebel Wilson is not walking down the aisle…yet!
The Australian sensation needs no introduction, given her domineering status in the entertainment industry. With her beauty, wit, and comedic charm, the actress has become a beloved household name worldwide.
When the grapevines hinted that the blonde bombshell had gotten engaged to her lover, Ramona Agruma, millions celebrated their union. Unfortunately, the couple is yet to take the big step.
Rebel Wilson Clears The Air About Her Engagement To Ramona Agruma
Whatever Wilson does, the 42-year-old loves to do it in style. Following rumors of her engagement, the "Pitch Perfect" star set the record straight with a cheeky post on Saturday, November 5.
On her Instagram Story, the Teen Choice Award winner shared a short clip of herself and Agruma posing in front of a stunning castle at Disneyland. For the sunny affair, the blonde duo dressed casually and rocked matching sunglasses.
In the clip, the pair flashed cheerful smiles at the camera. The "How To Be Single" actress playfully captioned this beautiful moment: "Thanks for the well-wishes, but we are NOT engaged!"
Wilson's words cut crystal clear, which made one wonder why rumors of the pair's engagement began circulating in the first place. Surprisingly, the lovebirds' frequent PDA caused the misunderstanding.
PageSix reported the happy news after a source claimed the couple had taken things to the next level. The alleged engagement came after seven months of dating, and the pair seemingly confirmed it at the Casamigos Halloween gala.
According to the insider, the proposal happened weeks ago, and the lovebirds flaunted diamond jewelry on their ring fingers at the party. Additionally, they shared the good news with attendees. In the informant's words, "They were making out in a corner and telling everyone how excited they are to be engaged."
Before falling for the Latvia beauty, the "Senior Year" star dated the Anheuser-Busch fortune heir, Jacob Busch, for about a year. The former couple split last February, ending their rollercoaster romance. Following their separation, Wilson told sources:
"I was doing a thing called ‘Hot Girl Summer’ — I heard about it in rap songs — and I was like, 'This sounds fun.' [But] it wasn’t really me. I’m a bit more of a conservative girl, normally."
Done with casual affairs, the 42-year-old noted that she was searching for the "right person." As luck would have it, she found Agruma and began her first public same-sex relationship.
The pair may not be planning a wedding, but The Blast shared that the lovebirds launched a joint apparel brand, the R&R Club. Agruma, who owns the fashion line named Lemon Ve Lemon, collaborated with the actress to create a line of hoodies and sweatpants.
Wilson announced the collection on Instagram, sharing a sweet promotional video of herself wearing a white hoodie designed with the brand's logo. In the clip, the MTV Movie Award winner praised the line, describing the fabric as "soft, comfy, and great for the holiday season."
However, the actress advised fans to purchase the apparel quickly as it was a limited edition. According to the Aussie, the collaborative project was a "little experiment."
Agruma echoed similar words in her promotional Instagram post. The Latvia native shared a picture of her girlfriend looking breathtaking in her two-piece white ensemble while posing on a staircase.
'The Hustle' Star Never Wanted A Prince Charming But A Princess
During Pride month, The Blast reported that the TV personality marked the occasion with rainbow-themed treats. The 42-year-old shared a picture of herself holding a colorful donut while posing in front of a table.
On the table were flowers and two sculpted horses covered in LGBT+ colors. Although Wilson has always advocated for the community, fans never knew the Australian sensation was a member.
A few days after her Pride month post, the "Isn't It Romantic" star came out of the closet. The comedian shared a picture of herself getting cozy with Agruma and affectionately captioned the image, "I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess."
Following her revelation, fans and celebrities alike flooded the post with supportive messages. Many congratulated the couple, while others were pleasantly shocked.
