Rebel Wilson Comes Out, Dating 'Disney Princess' Ramona Agruma

Actress Rebel Wilson finally feels comfortable enough to come out of the closet!

The “Senior Year” actress celebrated pride month with a rainbow-themed donut on Instagram writing, “Gotta love a pride-themed donut! Happy pride everyone #loveislove.”

Although they knew she was an ally, fans were stunned when she debuted her new girlfriend, Ramona Agruma.

The “Pitch Perfect” star posted a photo of the two smiling together on Instagram on Thursday afternoon.

She captioned the snap: “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess ???#loveislove”

Rebel got plenty of support from fans and famous friends, with Montana Brown commenting, “Love you so much ❤️ lovely people you are ?”

Carly Steel wrote, “Gorgeous couple & dynamic duo. Love you guys ???”

Arielle Kebbel commented, “❤️ ? so happy for you both!”

Mark Hapka wrote, “Love you both so much!!!❤️❤️❤️”

Back in May, Wilson had appeared on Jordana Abraham and Jared Freid’s podcast, “U Up.” While she was there, she said that she was “now happily in a relationship,” adding that “I met them at a friend’s setup.” However, the 42-year-old actress didn’t name names at the time.

She revealed that she actually had been looking for love on dating apps like Raya before she was set up through a friend.

“I was on and off on the Raya app, but this was a friend setup,” Wilson explained. “He had known both of us for at least five years and he thought we would hit it off — and then we did!”

Believe it or not, Page Six reported that Wilson had already taken her fashion designer girlfriend on a very public date at the Vanity Fair Oscars party back in March. In April, they also took a trip to Park City, Utah, to attend an event together for Operation Smile.

Agruma’s Instagram account is private, so it’s not clear if she has been out about their relationship before Wilson decided to disclose it just over a week into Pride Month.

One friend reportedly told PEOPLE, “Rebel's in an amazing place and I've never seen her happier.”

She also opened up a bit more about her new partner, revealing that they had been in contact over the phone before they met in person.

“We spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting. And that was a really good way to get to know each other,” she explained. “It was a bit old-school in that sense — very romantic.”

“I think going through the process of finding more self-worth, I think that what you want in a partner is elevated and so it's great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship,” she continued.

“There were times — I'm not saying with all my exes, they're great — but there were some times that I was probably putting up with that I shouldn't have,” she added. “So it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship.”
