Houston born rapper Megan Thee Stallion is not pleased with Drake's new song, in which he seems to claim that she lied about being shot in the foot by his friend Tory Lanez. The song, titled "Circo Loco," was released as one of several tracks on Drake's latest collab album, "Her Loss," which featured 21 Savage.
Megan went on a Twitter rampage, blasting Drake for associating her name with bogus conspiracy theories and chasing clout. She also chastised her industry colleagues for failing to help women who have been assaulted.
Lanez and Megan's alleged altercation occurred in 2020. The "Freaky" rapper has since been charged with felony assault, with his next hearing scheduled for later this month.

Megan Thee Stallion Calls Out Drake
Megan took to social media to express how miffed she was about Drake's new song, "Circo Loco," which she alleged contained lyrics that defamed her.
The song comes from the Canadian singer's joint album with British rapper 21 Savage, "Her Loss," which debuted on Friday after being previously postponed due to production issues.
In a part of the song, Drake rapped, "This b**ch lie 'bout getting shot but she still a stallion / She don't even get the joke but she still smiling," seemingly accusing Megan of lying about getting shot by his friend Lanez in 2020.
Barely an hour after the song dropped, Megan wrote on Twitter, "I know I'm very popular but y'all gotta stop attaching weak a** conspiracy theories in bars to my name lol. 'N*gg*s nor h**s EVER address me or @ me WITH a fact or receipts. I AM CLOUT B**ch keep sucking my p**sy."
She then attacked the lyrics, and Drake head-on, "Stop using my shooting for clout b**ch a** n*gg*s! Since when tf is it cool to joke abt women getting shot! You n*gg*s especially RAP n*gg*s ARE LAME!"

Not done with her rant, the "Savage" singer called out music stars who had cut connections with Kanye West in the aftermath of his recent anti-Semitic comments, accusing them of remaining silent in cases where a woman was the victim.
She continued in her tweet, "Ready to boycott bout shoes and clothes but dog pile on a black woman when she say one of y'all homeboys abused her."
"And when the mf facts come out remember all y'all h** a** favorite rappers that stood behind a n*gg* that SHOT A FEMALE."
Megan also complained about the excess scrutiny and flak she has always gotten from online trolls, even though she had done nothing wrong.
The singer continued, "People attack me y'all go up for it, i defend myself now I'm doing too much … every time it never ends, and this did NOT happen until I came out and said I got shot … y'all don't fwm okay cool f*ck it bye.
Fans Show Support For Megan Thee Stallion
After airing her mind in the posts, fans of the singer voiced their support for Megan and slammed Drake for using his music to take shots at her.
A Twitter user commented, "Megan, I'm so sorry, I can't imagine what it must be like having your peers disrespect something that was so traumatic for you. I'm really really sorry."
One fan said, "A lot of people's favorite rappers are conservative and hate women. Even the ones that ARE women or the ones that claim they love us. And they've got the money and the platform to distance themselves from any real consequences."
Another follower wrote, "He literally could've just kept quiet. Now his fans are about to harass her."
Tory Lanez Still Has A Case In Court
Although Megan and Lanez had their altercation in 2020, the final verdict on the felony assault charges brought against the "Say It" singer at the time has yet to be reached. The duo was thought to be dating when the incident happened, which Megan has since denied.
The rapper was released on bail following his arrest on the allegations in late 2020. However, he was rearrested in 2022 when a judge decided he breached a protective order issued that barred the Canadian rapper from hassling and intimidating Megan.
The "Feel It Too" hitmaker was once again released to serve house arrest. His bail was set at $350,000, an additional $100,000 increase from his last bond. His next hearing is scheduled for November 28. Lanez faces a possible term of 22 years and eight months in a state penitentiary if convicted.
