Rihanna Has Something Exciting Up Her Sleeve For Savage X Fenty Show
Rihanna has enlisted Depp’s talents for her fashion show, TMZ exclusively learned.
Before you start to think the ‘Pirates’ actor will strut his stuff in men’s lingerie during the show, think again.
The outlet learned Depp will be featured as a surprise guest. He will be the focus of one of the show’s “star” moments wearing items from the men’s Savage X Fenty collection.
These “star” moments have included celebrities like Cindy Crawford and Erykah Badu in the past.
Johnny Depp Will Make A "Star" Appearance
Depp’s participation in the show during the “star” moment marks the first time a male has taken this role in Savage X Fenty fashion show history.
Per reports, Rihanna and her team invited Depp to be a part of it, and both sides were super pumped to make it happen. The actor has already filmed his part and will be included in the show’s premiere on November 9th.
Depp is reported to look “cool and chic” in the show.
Johnny Has Already Filmed His Part & Will Appear "Cool & Chic"
Rihanna’s Vol. 4 show will feature the latest Savage X Fenty styles, and it will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The “trailblazing event is raising the bar yet again with a new all-star lineup of models, actors, some of the biggest names in music,” according to a press release. “A seductive fashion fever dream, this year’s show blends Emmy award-winning choreography, style, and music with the hypnotic essence of nocturnal nature. Featuring a star-studded cast all wearing the newest Savage X Fenty looks, the show is an un-missable visual feast.”
Since his defamation trial against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, Depp has made a positive comeback to the spotlight.
He appeared as the Moon Person at the MTV VMAs this past summer.
Following his triumphant trial win, Depp immediately began touring with his guitarist Jeff Beck, and became a TikTok influencer.
The defamed actor joined the platform on June 7th.
He published a 30-second video to his account which featured footage of him in a suit going to the courthouse, passing by droves of fans with signs that read, “I love U and your Lawyer Johnny,” waving to the crowd, as well as him rocking out onstage with his guitar.
Performing music live is something he’s been doing since before his defamation trial win.
As you may recall, we reported the actor/musician jetted off to Europe before the trial came to a close. He was spotted hamming it up with fans, rocking out with his band and thoroughly enjoying himself.
Depp shared a heartfelt message along with the TikTok video.
“To all of my most treasured, loyal and unwavering supporters. We’ve been everywhere together, we have seen everything together. We have walked the same road together. We did the right thing together, all because you cared,” his caption read. “And now, we will all move forward together. You are, as always, my employers and once again I am whittled down to no way to say thank you, other than just by saying thank you. So, thank you. My love & respect, JD.”
