Kelsea Ballerini Fries Chicken In Tight Yoga Pants On Instagram

Kelsea Ballerini is keeping Instagram updated on her quarantine life. The 26-year-old country singer has made headlines galore amid COVID-19 – alongside releasing her third studio album amid a global pandemic, the "homecoming queen?" singer has fronted media outlets for her hilarious stay-home updates, with a particularly popular video showing the blonde doing push-ups to lower her mouth-held potato chips into a jar of Lays Ranch Dip.

Food was once again on the agenda in Kelsea's Friday night stories. With an admission that an "entire" bottle of wine had been consumed, clearly, alcohol was, too.

Kelsea's stories kicked off with the Tennessee native in selfie mode. The hand-held footage showed Kelsea in her kitchen and in front of the stove as she showcased a fit physique via a clingy white t-shirt with a fun, tie-dye pair of yoga pants pairing it. Seen with a piece of fried chicken in her hand as more was in a pan, Kelsea said:

"On tonight's episode of quarantine, I drank an entire bottle of wine because...it's Friday," she added while shrugging.

"Um, and I also tried making fried chicken for the first time. Which was a good success," she continued.

The camera then swung to Kelsea's finished product – even if there wasn't much left. Kelsea's 2.1 million followers saw a frying pan containing fried chicken, some leftovers next to it, plus Kelsea still holding her piece.

"So, I'm just gonna eat it all now," Kelsea concluded.

This wouldn't be the first chicken feature to make a headline from the singer. March brought Kelsea's quarantine McNuggets, with the star also sharing an update from her bed while wearing McDonald's socks.

More serious messages from Kelsea have been shared, although this rising sensation manages to keep the mood upbeat overall.

Kelsea has been promoting the benefits of sunshine – if you can get any – with a series of posts showing her catching rays either in a tiny string bikini or, as proved popular recently, via a sunbathing session on the roof of her Jeep.

"Took the Jeep out to find some sunshine, laid on the roof and soaked it up. // if you can SAFELY get outside...it really helps. ☀️," she wrote.

With her new "kelsea" album dubbed an "ideal" quarantine companion by Rolling Stone, Kelsea has also been filling her social media with music – her home-set video of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" sits at over 240,000 views.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Kelsea appeared to see a certain irony in finding a certain "comfort" as her new release sees her social distancing.

“Isn’t that ironic,” she began, adding:

“I’m not going to lie, I had a few days of just being flat disappointed and pacing my floors trying to find a way around something there is no way around. However, the more I zoom out, the more I realize that this is a time where people want and need music more than ever.”
