McPhee further explained in the interview that they thought they were only going to release a couple of songs on Spotify. However, it turned into a seven-song EP creation and then skyrocketed into becoming a whole Christmas plan of shows and promotion.
Her doting husband, who was also present for the interview, chimed in and revealed that he enjoyed working with his wife. He said, “It was really fun. There were a couple of songs we were talking about that we didn’t know whether she could handle or not, but she handled them like a pro.”

McPhee and Foster, who happen to be musical geniuses are proud parents to one-year-old son Rennie. Per The Blast, last month, the famous duo, during an interview, raved about their little boy’s musical prowess.
The “Winter Games” singer, when asked if Rennie is going to have a career in music, took a subtle approach to address the subject, saying, “You know, when you look at somebody like Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, their kids are very talented… but they are not tennis players, so we don’t know. He’s so young.”
McPhee, however, was more confident in her stance when she said, “It makes sense that he’d be musical. He’s certainly obsessed with the drums! Or imaginary drums, for that matter”. She, however, clarified that they weren’t sure about the path their son would eventually follow.
