Donda Academy DOOMED As Staffers At Kanye West's School Flee!

Kanye West’s empire continues to crumble.

The rapper’s “famed” Donda Academy was shut down at the behest of its founder last week and in less than 24-hours later it was reopened.

Kanye’s flip-floppiness and ballistic behavior really pissed off parents, and sent many into a frenzy to find their children a new school ASAP.

His recent behavior also sent many Donda Academy staffers hightailing it for the door as well.

According to the New York Post, several teachers at Donda Academy quit in protest over the rapper’s erratic behavior and anti-Semitic remarks.

Ye’s friend, Malik Yusef, told The Post, “Staff members of the Jewish faith were lost.”

Yusef previously described himself as an “administrator, administering information to young, growing minds.”

“I know we had a couple people of the Jewish faith who worked there [who] basically recused or resigned in light of public pressure from, I am sure, friends and family. You got to go with your team when your family is saying it’s not possible to stay there,” Yusef said. “What Kanye said was ridiculous.”

According to TMZ, Tamar Andrews, a highly-regarded education consultant, left Donda Academy given her involvement at two Jewish schools.

When asked about Kanye’s anti-Jewish slurs and outbursts on social media and national television, Yusef said, “Critical thinking is what Donda is about, and I don’t think Kanye applied critical thinking.”

The Blast previously reported on Donda Academy’s announcement to shut its doors “effective immediately.”

Donda Academy’s principal, Jason Angell, sent an email to the parents of students, informing them the school would be closing “at the discretion of our founder.”

The email read, “First, we would like to express our gratitude for the community of families and scholars that Donda Academy brought together. However, at the discretion of our Founder, Donda Academy will close for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year effective immediately. Thursday, October 27. THERE. IS NO SCHOOL TOMORROW.”

Could you imagine being a parent on the other end of this email? Like, there’s a whole other semester and then some of school left for kids.

“Our leadership team will be working diligently to assist all families during this transition, ensuring that every scholar has what they need to succeed in their next community in a prompt and gracious manner,” the email continued. “We intend to bring afresh in September of 2023, and we are confident that our scholars will continue to advance as the creative innovators, courageous influencers and academic leaders of the next generation.”

Angell signed it off with “Thank you for your support.”

According to Hollywood Unlocked, many parents are concerned about tuition refunds.

However, less than 24-hours after the email was sent, Donda Academy reversed its decision to close its doors.

Kanye pulled a "GOTCHA" and reversed his decision to close Donda Academy. According to reports, the unaccredited children's school has reopened its doors just as quickly as it closed them.

In a new email to the parents and students sent Wednesday night, Donda Academy announced it was returning with a "vengeance."

"Join us tomorrow morning in worship for the return of Donda Academy. With the help of our parents and community, we are back and returning with a vengeance!" the email read. "The children of Donda are going to change the world."
