Drake is taking a moment to send love to Takeoff’s friends and family after the rapper’s untimely passing.

The “Jimmy Crooks” rapper is mourning Migos member Takoff along with the rest of the rap community. He wrote a short but sweet post honoring Takeoff and shared a handful of photos remembering some of his favorite moments with the 28-year-old.

“I got the best memories of all of us seeing the world together and bringing light to every city we touch. That’s what I’ll focus on for now ? rest easy space man Take ?” wrote Drake alongside a photo of himself and the “Bad And Boujee” rapper on stage during one of the OVO tours.

Drake than took to IG Story to share fun memories of the three of them with him during different point in their careers.

The rapper was featured on a remix of the rap group’s hit “Versace’. In one of the photos it features drake with Migos and the caption says the name of the song one of the indicators this was the night the recording was made. Another indicator was the baby faces all the rappers sported.

In another photo of Drake with Migos they are all dressed up in sleezy 70s attire with fun, tacky afros. He writes, “we were all supposed to be looking like this in our 60’s for real” and added a bunch of sad emoji faces.

He also shared a 2018 flyer of their show Drake and The Three Migos and finally a single photo of Takeoff or “Take” as his family and friends lovingly called him. Drake is clearly beat up about the murder and hasn’t said anything on social media since the post.

The community came together to support Drake while he grieves. “Long live our brother @yrntakeoff,” writes Ty Dolla Sign, “We love you @yrntakeoff !” followed up DJ Khaled. Winnie Harlow, Gillie Da King, Druski and so many more flooded the comments with love and support.

As we reported earlier, Takeoff was gunned down after a game of dice went wrong. The case is developing and authorities are looking for a suspect and asking the public for any information they can share.

Takeoff was only 28 and earlier that morning had released his latest single with Quavo called “Messy” the song ois already being called a hit and fans are sad that the rapper isn’t here to bask in the glory of it.
