CEO Of Takeoff's Record Label Mourns Rapper's Tragic Death: 'Will Forever Love You'

The CEO of Quality Control Music has joined the growing list of celebrities who publicly mourned the demise of rapper Takeoff.
Kirshnick Khari Ball, professionally known as Takeoff, died tragically in a shooting on November 1st. This event was reported to have taken place at a bowling alley.
Over the past hours, several celebrities have openly expressed their condolences on the Migos member’s death. Now, the CEO of the record label, which the artist was signed to before his demise, put out a heartfelt message.
CEO Of Quality Control Music Expresses His Sadness On The Passing Of Takeoff
First, the Record Label, which Takeoff was signed to officially put out a mourning statement on their Instagram, confirming that the 28-year-old was killed by a stray bullet. The sad post read, “ It is with broken hearts and deep sadness that we mourn the loss of our beloved brother Kirsnick Khari Ball, known to the world as Takeoff. ”
The post further read that “senseless violence and a stray bullet has taken another life from this world, and we are devastated,” before concluding with a plea for all to “respect his family and friends as they continue to process this monumental loss.”
Following this official post from the music label, the CEO, Pierre “P” Thomas, released his own tribute. On Instagram, the entrepreneur shared a picture of the “Versace” rapper. Accompanying the picture was a lengthy caption that deeply expressed his sadness.
He penned, “ Young King @yrntakeoff, I don’t know where to begin, but I want to say that anybody that knows me knows how much I love you, and anybody that knows you knows you definitely didn’t deserve to die at such a young age.”
With reference to the cause of the “Messy” rapper’s death, Thomas advised against resulting to violence in a disagreement. “It’s ok to love your brother and sister,” the entertainment mogul declared.
Thomas further pleaded that everyone be “understanding as to what the family has to see on the internet.” He stated, “let them get thru this process with peace and love.”
The Atlanta native ended the caption, writing, “I will forever love you.” Most of his fans also bemoaned the artist’s death in the comments section. One fan stated, “This really hurt, smh,” while another fan emphasized, “Bro didn’t deserve this.”
Takeoff Gunned Down At A Bowling Alley In Houston
In case you missed it, The Blast reported about the tragic event that occurred in the early hours of November 1st.
It was reported that the “Slippery” rapper was at a bowling alley called 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston, playing a few games of dice. He was accompanied by his group member and uncle Quavo when the scuffle broke out.

Per reports, shots were fired, and the rapper was either hit in the head or close to the head, resulting in a fatal wound. He was allegedly pronounced dead at the scene.
From photos of the incident, the 31-year-old rapper was spotted trying to revive Takeoff. At one point, Quavo and his crew tried to move the 28- year old, but they had to put him down. It turned out that while at the establishment, the young artist posted his location on Instagram. It may likely have been that the incident was targeted, or the shooting may have been unrelated.
Also, it was revealed that alongside the rapper, two other people were shot. The two victims were conveyed to a hospital in private vehicles. Although their condition and how they were related to the shooting is yet to be known.
Prior to this fateful event, Quavo and Takeoff had just released a new song titled “Messy.”

Shortly after the 28-year-old rapper’s death was announced, celebrities and fans expressed their shock and grief at this disheartening update on various social media platforms to bemoan. “Rest up Takeoff🚀🚀🚀😢😢😢 He was so unproblematic bruh. Only 28 years old,” grieved a fan of the rapper on Twitter.

Rapper Desiigner took to Instagram Live, where he wailed deeply and then stated that he is “quitting rap” because this was another tragic death in hip hop.
American DJ Diplo shared a heartwarming picture of the late rapper in his studio while they were working on a project. He wrote, "Takeoff taking a nap in my studio in Hollywood.. ive been close with all three guys in the band for years, we were recording “know no better” for Major Lazer that night. Woke up today to the news that he passed away.. I was heartbroken.
He continued, reminiscing about the late XXXTentacion's murder in 2018 when he was just 20, writing, "after xxx died, i moved away from hip hop production because I didn’t feel right seeing all these kids half my age dying over a few dollars .. we gotta make it stop."
