Antonio Brown Reacts to Trolling Tom Brady: 'It Is What It Is'

Earlier this month, former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown seemingly took shots at his former teammate Tom Brady after he shared a picture of himself with now ex-wife Gisele Bündchen amid marital problems.
A few weeks after Brown shared the photo of him and Bündchen from the Super Bowl, the former NFL wide receiver decided to sell t-shirts with that same photo.
Now, he is being asked what happened between him and Brady and why he is seemingly taking digs at him.
Antonio Brown Speaks Out After Trolling Tom Brady
When in an interview with entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David, the host put Antonio Brown in the spotlight and asked him what happened between him and Tom Brady to cause him to seemingly troll his former teammate.
Brown decided to respond by making himself out as the victim, saying that he is selling the T-shirts to raise money for fatherless children. “This is a charity shirt to raise money for the fatherless kids,” Brown told Bet-David.
Bet-David called Brown out again, saying “But even that’s a dig.”
To which, Brown then said, “I don’t know his girl. It’s a T-shirt to raise money from a real moment that happened. How is this a reach? Because they’re going through a divorce? People go through stuff every day, man."
“What about me when I’m on the news for … I’m crazy, something happened,” Brown continued.
The host of the interview then cut Brown off and once again, called him out on how his actions could be affecting Bündchen and her children with Brady.
“It is what it is, man,” Brown said emotionless.
It is unclear why Brown is trolling Brady as Brady was one of his few defenders, even allowing him to stay with him at his home.
Antonio Brown’s History With the NFL
Antonio Brown played for the Pittsburgh Steelers prior to changing teams and playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, alongside quarterback Tom Brady.
Fans of the NFL began to worry about Brown’s mental health when the seven-time Pro Bowler ran shirtless through the end zone during a January 2020 game and directly into the locker room after what many assumed was a disagreement between him and the coaching staff over whether or not he was healthy enough to play.
Shortly after the incident, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers released Antonio Brown from the team. Mental health help is something Brown’s former team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, offered to get him after Brown’s outburst during a January 2020 game, but the NFL wide receiver refused.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen Get Divorced
After 13 years of marriage, Brazilian fashion model Gisele Bündchen and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady officially filed for divorce.
Reports have confirmed that the divorce lawyers for both Bündchen and Brady have been working with a mediator so that the two can come to an agreement in regard to property settlement and custody of their children. It seems the two have officially come to terms, but the terms of the settlement will remain confidential and sealed.
Tom Brady took to Instagram shortly after the news broke to release a statement, saying, in part, “In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve."
