Bethenny Frankel is speaking up after deleting the first positive review of a Kardashian-Jenner product!
Over the last few months, the reality TV star has made honest and harsh critiques of the family businesses — including bashing two products from Kim Kardashian‘s skincare line and Kylie Jenner’s Birthday PR Box — in a series of reviews on social media. However, the businesswoman had a change of heart on Thursday when she shared a rare good review of Kardashian’s SKIMS sock line.
Bethenny Frankel Wants Nothing To Do With The Kardashian-Jenner Businesses Anymore
As it turned out, Frankel put a sock in the positive review as she shared another TikTok video informing her one million followers that she was taking it down. The entrepreneur noted that “an individual who I will not discuss because I’ve decided I’m cleansing them from any conversation that I have anywhere” owned five percent of the SKIMS business.
Unfortunately, she did not share the same views with the individual based on some recent racist comments he had shared publicly. In her words:
“Brands are often scared about who they’re going to associate with. It could be Dior associating with someone who has a very dangerous concert or many different areas. That’s sort of a business-brand alignment conversation, but for the purposes of this video, I’m going to say that’s why I’m taking that video down. I’d say it’s nothing personal… it’s entirely personal, but it’s important.”
Frankel then added that she wanted to “stay true” to her plans to “not add oxygen to and talk about that individual.” She admitted that she had made mistakes and “inadvertently promoted” the wrong people by reviewing the socks.

Thus, the “The Real Housewives of New York City” alum concluded that since she did not want that “message” in her or her child’s life, she had to stop discussing it — positively or negatively.
Frankel ended the video, saying, “So that video will be deleted because I just didn’t connect a five percent owner of that business has created an anti-semitic, dangerous, diabolical, and destructive pattern throughout this country. So thank you for listening.”
Based on her last statement, fans quickly figured out that Frankie was referring to Kanye West — now Ye — who has been in the news for his racist remarks against the Jewish community. They applauded “The Big Shot with Bethenny” star for sticking to her morals in the comments, giving the clip 17k+ likes in its first 13 hours.
As for the previous clip, Page Six highlighted that the 51-year-old had kicked things off by shaking a magic eight ball, asking, “Will I like SKIMS socks?” Although the ball did not provide a conclusive answer, Frankel quickly moved on, appreciating the family or PR person that sent her samples despite her long list of brutal critiques of the family-backed business.
After disclosing that she got several colors, the Skinnygirl founder admitted that the socks felt “nice and luxurious” partly because they were not “too thick.” In the end, Frankel was wowed by the product and confessed: “I will wear these. I’m giving these ‘an okay I like it, Picasso; these are excellent.” She claimed “Skims wins” in the deleted video’s caption.
The Self-Help Author Needs A Break From The Kardashians
In September, The Blast reported that Frankel and her fans agreed about needing a “Kardashian Intermission.” The 51-year-old began by admitting that she had been “scared” to have the conversation even though it had nothing to do with her being afraid of the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, Kris Jenner. Explaining her situation, the 51-year-old pondered:
“What are we saying to our kids? What is the message? Take it all? Be as rich as possible? Filter as much as possible? Be as fake as [sic] much as possible? Brag as much as possible? Be self-involved and take pictures of yourself that make you look in the best light as much as possible, look like [sic] nothing like what you actually look like, like a shell of your former self, as much as possible?”
She wrote in the video’s caption, “Since I seem to have been “shadowbanned” on social media since posting about celeb brands…hmmmm [thinking emoji]. Coincidence maybe? Or is censorship real?” Although the video has been deleted, it had almost 12k comments and 169k+ likes at the time of our original reportage.
